Run the shower aimed above it, or dump some buckets f water, heading toward the drain. then clean up what didn't go down with a paper towel.

And it's worse when it's not one of your kids!! That's NEXT to the worse. The worse is when a neoghbor kid has the most explosive diarrhea you've EVER seen in your life: every nook and cranny in the toilet, all over every stitch of clothes, on the tub, on the floor...and for crying out loud, on the counter and MIRROR.
...and being reminded of this every time, over the next 15 years as he grows into a man, and still avoinds your eyes...(Yep, poor guy was traumatized for life -- uh, so was I, methinks)

parenting really isnt all that hard, if you remember a few rules.
1) Be honest. with yourself and definatly the kids. 2) Remember your raising. Give what you liked, and what you had wish you receaved more of. 3) Do the oppisite of what you know is wrong.

*and try to make them use their imagination as much as possible ...instead of telling them why it is what it is make them think by asking them" well how come we have to stop at stop sighns" or why do girls use different bathrooms then boys" I bet they will always have an answer for you and it saves you from the odd questions...and most the time it starts awesome conversations letting you into their mind...I never tall mine he's not right after asking I just say" are you sure?...wow I thought it was cause..." and he tells me "oh yeah thats the other reason I didn't member"
