This email came in from a friend of mine today…. My sister Stephanie was eating with my nieces and nephew at Taco Cabana near 242 on Tuesday night. The restaurant didn't have any other patrons at the time. A man in his 50's entered the restaurant and ordered. He came and sat at the table right next to Stephanie and placed his food on his own table. Then he turned his chair towards Stephanie and started talking to the kids. He acted like an old acquaintance. "So you finally got the boy you wanted, huh? Where's daddy at tonight?" The restaurant employees would have seen an "old friend" talking with my sister... nothing to cause alarm. He proceeded to tell them about the dog he had in his van... which my youngest niece was dying to see, naturally. My sister saw all the red flags. She finished feeding the baby and then headed for the door. The man threw his uneaten food in the trash and followed. At the exit, she said she forgot her keys to go back inside and the man offered to watch the girls while she went to get them. By this point, Audrey was throwing a fit to see his dog. The van was parked across the parking lot, instead of beside the building. Stephanie took the family into the women's restroom to hide for several minutes. When she came out the man was walking his dog on the median. Stephanie told the employees about the man and they showed her he was still waiting. She called 911 and the employees went to get the license plate number. When the man saw them writing his plate down, he threw the dog in the van and sped away. Police followed Stephanie home and filed a report. The license plate was stolen. They do not know who the man is. They do know he is doing this a lot. Several reports have been made by parents who tell the same story. It is happening at restaurants around Hwy 242 and at a park on Hwy 242. According to police, he will likely get more aggressive as he continues. Seems if the plates are stolen, and it's happened A LOT...someone isn't doing their job   Feb 27 @ 7:22 PM Child Abductor in The Woodlands, Texas Area     sackamc Posts: 15 lol yeah it would seem that way now doesnt it, but the sad thing is....is that that area is very well patrolled by police.
