I was wondering why don't men want baby daddys involved in the kids life. I had a man quit talking to me since my kids daddy see's them a man from here (penjoylife) replied "i see well im not ok with ex's being extra baggage sorry bye". I always believe its great when a absent parent is involved! Whats wrong with this guy?

I prefer mom over non moms and women that have a good standing co parenting relationship. If you can atlease get that part right with the ex, Im alot more comfortable if "we ever decide to have our own.

Wow There was a civil agreement between the two of you over your children and another man couldn't handle that? Should be happy there's no drama and drawn out fights and court hearings.
Insecure is what I will agree with as someone already stated. Some men (and women, directing this for vice versa roles) just can't handle the idea that you will always have to have some involvement with another man. If the father had deserted then there would be no issue.
In any case, it's a trust issue regardless of his personal experiences. You should see it as a blessing he didn't try to lie, mask his feelings, and pretend he was okay with it beyond how odd it may come off to the majority.

I think they feel threatened. I was raised with six brothers, most of whom (at will) was able to have sex with their baby mamas even if they were in a relationship.
My ex told me, once you have kids with a woman, you can always get the p*ssy. (By the way, ask him if that theory still holds true  )
Other than that, I have seen some men feel threatened by it just because they want to be daddy to your kids, and feel as though they can't do that with another daddy in the picture.

I think they feel fear of judgment and out of place in areas they want in on or more control.
