Most of us here are single, most of us here are either a full time or part time parent. Must of us dont want to be single anymore. Say lets say ya do finally land the big fish, the right dish. Would you have another or more children?
Me yes, if that be in the fates cards, welcome it with and open and happy heart.
What says you? Why?

No I wouldn't have another. I love my children . . . heck children are great, but being the youngest & having 'older' parents was especially difficult for me in grade school; it was quite embarrassing when my school friends would see me with my parents at a school function & say "Oh are those your grandparents?"
I just couldn't do that to a kid.

Would I "have" another - I know women my age do it all the time - I would not. Would I adopt or foster - certainly.

No.
Now don't get me wrong. Anyone here that knows me knows that I absolutely ADORE my children.
And after having the first set, when my "baby" was not quite 13, I got yet ANOTHER blessing! And he's just got to be THE most perfect little guy in the world...except he's almost 12 now and he's not so little any more.
But...while I get the biggest kick out of kids - even when they're acting badly and driving me crazy, I STILL love 'em to death - I think it's a parent's responsibility to be with their children and to be THERE for them as well. And it's our responsibility to raise them to maturity, and hopefully instill the values in them that all parents wish their children possessed.
Raise them to maturity. Therein lies the rub. I sincerely doubt if I'll be on this earth long enough to raise another one to maturity. And it simply isn't fair to the child to get half way through that job, and then suddenly disappear from his/her life. So for that reason, and that reason alone, I would have to say no, I wouldn't have another.
But bring me GRANDKIDS, okay?!?!?!?!?

I have five and have said for the longest time that I was done, but when Mr. Wonderful does come, I will consider having more if that is his heart's desire. I'm just ready to love and be loved! If this is part of it - then I am open.

I know I don't want to ever be pregnant again, so thats kind of a no. But wouldn't mind fostering or adopting.

Can't have more...and getting to the age I shouldn't. Mine are grown and I'm twice blessed, a son and daughter. Could I love someone else's child? Absolutely.

I love kids, but since I am 50 and missing the parts that produce kids, I certainly won't be having any more.
But I'm ready to love his kids with all my heart.

But I'm ready to love his kids with all my heart. Beyond Awesome.
There's a lot of things I didn't get to do for one reason or another with my own three surprises. It would be a mind blowing thing to go threw one nearly completely compared. Ya know learning under fire was kind of rough for everyone involved. And when and or if I do get marred, and when and if we deciding this was something we were both into it 100% til the very end of all, Im so game to get me my own daughter.

I always said "one was enough" but I think if I got married again, and that person really wanted kids, then i would seriously contemplate having another. I just don't want to be too old having a kid, and then being like 70 when the kid graduates!
But its always a possiblity!
