I am not trying to depress anyone here. Just I lost my son 12 years ago at age 22.
Wondered if anyone can relate, and how you have adjusted to the change in your life?

Oh....I'm so sorry to hear that.
There are a couple here, and many that have children with potentially life-threatening illnesses.

If you ever want to talk, I'm here.

Thanks Loreli . I have not been able to type recently so just now saw reply.
I know only a few members on this site (other than some by their posts), your reply was sweet .
My heart goes out to those you stated have children with life threatening illness's.
Most people don't realize the strentgh they have in them, until their chid is very ill.
I can only pray in general for these children and parents and hope sincerely that whatever they face ahead is better than now.

I have been blessed as to not have any but normal problems with my kids.. no life threatening illnesses (except Tommys burst appendix when he was 3) but I have a few friends tha have suffered terribly and the main thing I KNOW they all need is loving support.. be a sounding board for their rants to the heavens if nothing else... take extra care when dealing when them and realize the stress they are dealing with.. maybe help them around the house or with meals or even taking care of their other children for them for a while .. so they can DESTRESS instead of imploding .. trying ot put on the together face for the child that is suffering wears one down...just BE THERE for any parent its something you will never regret ... and thank you to all those who do do this.. your help is more appreciated than you realize.. My heart truly goes out to those who have lost children...my best friend (besides my Mac) and his wife lost their son and the strength I saw in him and her was amazing...I cannot fathom the pain they go thru every day .. but I will always be there for them...
