How does a nice lady in a remote area meet nice guys that are fun and take life seriously i'm not even in a remote area and it seems like all we got around here are liars and jerks. i'd rather have no men around at all than that kind! big sighI live in a big city and I can't find a decent guy who is serious. I can't imagine what ya'all are going through. And I am 24!!
Common theme seems to be you 3 meet jerks!........My best friend complains of the very same thing no matter how many times I point out to her that her new b/friend is a total a**, she insists hes gonna be different...... 
So ladies,......may I suggest you look at yourselves and your expectations before you condemn your local men!?!.........cuz, they are there....to your left....to your right.....at the grocery store....at the library.........me thinks you only look in the wrong places and for the "project" guy.......you know!........the one whos almost perfect but needs just a little tweek that only YOU can supply!.......

In my opinion, most all you women are on these dating sites looking for perfection. You will not find it here or any where else. Get your had out of the clouds and face reality!

Hi...I don't think it is about perfection, so much as morality and principles to some of us. I also live in a remote rural area, and what is found here are people who have spent their lives being "helped" to survive, druggies, or too young or too old. And, I think I'd prefer being alone as to be with someone that I wasn't compatible with. LOL...perhaps because I do have a few principles I scare them all away...who knows. Living rurally is a hindrance for sure....

I have found plenty of single men, the problem is finding one that wont let me run away. I have a hard time trusting someone.

You don't know where I meet single guys. It isn't like I go to bars or anything. The hard thing is, guys my age that I know are not interested in going to child frienldy places all the time. They want to go out to clubs and bars...and that is just not me. I enjoy being a parent, and don't want to spend an evening without him. I just don't think a parent should drop off their kid at a sitters house evey other night to go out. I don't want perfection...I want a man who is motivated, has a college education, and will enjoy being a male figure for my son. That is not easy to find as men heard ...child...and run. Not to mention, hard to meet men at my all girl college.

avoiding life, ya know, the hustle bustle of every day city life. i've lived in town and in the country, i can't get along with the folks in town. and in the country ya don't see ya neighbor unless ya looking for one another.
