Almost all Everett ARCO AM/PM's have gas at $1.99 per gallon. Tacoma AM/PM gas at I-5 Exit 130 has gas at $1.95, also at the I-5 Lakewood Exit ARCO $1.95, across the street from that is Circle K at $1.99 per gallon.

I have been using ARCO for 30 years and never had any problems with cars, trucks, chainsaws or anything associated with the gas. Water and gasoline don't mix and if they were using water or whatever it would lie in the bottom of your tank until discovered. It is amusing all the rumours that the least expensive competitor always generates. There's nothing to fear but....well you know the drill.

This handsome looking gentleman is correct, you might as well buy the cheapest gas as price AND BRAND has almost nothing to do with the quality of the fuel-gasoline is sold by wholesalers and basically it is all the same base stock fuel untill any additives are added -also,each stations underground tanks have a certain amount of water in them-this amount is determined with tests done by the state and you can actually ask to see the test results as each tank will have different amounts of water in them, some stations will have these results posted and in some small towns the station owners will tell his local customers which tank has the least amount of water in it-if you are worried about performance you should be mixing your own fuel anyways-i own a Mopar with a 440 Magnum and it requires Octane booster and i run LEAD additive in my fuel so the valves are cusioned each time they close, also a person could add vaporization enhansers, which increase the number of light ends in a given mixture of fuel-if you don`t know what light ends are and what they do and if you don`t know Reasearch Octane Numbers from a hole in the ground then you should not be pretending to know what the Fudge you are talking about -anyways,1 drop of water in ANY amount of fuel can and DOES affect the quality of gasoline but there are many other factors involved-anybody out there know how many molecules are in a tiny drop of water?Skip the BS and put the pedal to the metal, most of you idiots are driving the latest out of date technology anyways-if it runs on Gasoline, then it`s outta date LOOK FRIENDS,just park that gas guzzling junk and ride a bicycle and quit thinkin yer cool cause you got a BIG TRUCK-yeah right

Benders got a good point, only ARCO stations don`t have to add the water, they just buy the gas with the most water allready in it because it is the cheapest grade sold by the gas wholesalers-if you own a car that will burn it without suffering problems like detonation then go ahead and buy the crappy fuel, but remember that the better the fuel, the better the mileage you will get from the fuel-the best thing we can do for ourselves is to destroy your car before it destroys us all-i`ll destroy mine if you destroy yours first

Yeah its amazing how much water can be in any oil. I used to pick up used oil from gas stations and had to test it in a centrifuge to see how much water was in it. I could get up too 5cc or more of water out of 40cc of oil and thats alot most of the time it was only 2 or 3cc's. So ya but a little water is ok to much is bad. hmmm Destroy cars! Sure I ride my chopper most of the time anyway.

Gas prices are starting to come down again. $2.49 at the Am/Pm's in Everett a couple days ago. I don't think those Arco's have watered down fuel. I've been driving taxi for the past few years and have had no problems with their fuel. I used premium gas before because I hate the pinging when I go up hills but the past couple years I've had no problem with the pinging using their regular gas, and this is in a taxi/ex-police car that has over 400,000 miles on it. Maybe the Arco's have quit putting water in it, lol.

LOL, yeah, at worst it might get some condensation in it. When I worked at a service station we would get some oil changes with water in it but that was usually from leaks in like the head gaskets etc, lol.

I am lucky enought to live in Tacoma??? Hmmm The gas is the best prices in the Puget Sound. One of the least expensive is just down the road. It is not an Arco, it is 76. Not sure if that is much better? I drive a late model Monte SS and it just does not like the cheap gas or the lower octane. So I buy the expensive gas and it does get better gas milage. I am th queen of gas milege , I drive from Tacoma to Issaquah everyday. (for now) I did notice a difference whe I just up rthe octane. It helps with the synthetic oil and a clean air filter......LOL!

Gas is $3.07 to $3.11 here in PT. I think we have the highest gas prices in the state. Unless you live on one of the outer islands. Nationally I think Washington is in the highest braket too.
I ride my motorcycle most of the time, it gets 55 mpg. My car gets 34 mpg. My electric bill last month: $11
I'm doing my part...now how about the rest of you. Remember...the planet you save, may be your own.
PS...check out the first quoted gas prices on this thread. $1.99 ! Now 10 months later, over $3. So...by this time next year we should be pushing over the $4 mark...or more. That $1500 electric bicycle is looking sexier all the time.

$3.12 and holding. I think we have the highest gas prices at the moment. But yet the traffic going into town is unreal. What in the world are all those cars, with only one person in each, doing going down a dead end road to PT? some is ferrie traffic I'm sure, but it's like downtown Seattle at times and there is only 8500 people that live here.
But on an unrelated note. The Super Bug has landed here. Also known as MRSA...so STAY AWAY! This goes double for you Californians!
