I lived in a small red brick house just off of 75th street. Near the lake. Then moved to a blue sided house just off of highway 50. 52nd ave. 7731 52nd ave. ..why?

It just seem to appear that I am the only one from Kenosha. Just feeling a bit alone I guess. I see that you have moved to Waukesha. I grew up in Waukesha County, Meno. Fls to be exact. Lived on the 2nd highest point. On a clear day we could see Holy Hill from our window.

Yupper, The key words here are FROM KENOSHA. I was kidnapped by my parents and forced to live there. I graduated from Bradford when it was still downtown. Big Star was a favorite hangout there. I did marry a wonderful lady and lived there another 25 years. She left me and the kids for a real loser. Seems like that town is full of them. I have always thought of Kenosha as the armpit capital of the world. Nothing to do there except work. No arts, No culture....NOTHING. I packed my bags and moved. Soon I will be moving home to Madison Wisconsin where they have arts and culture, things to do. My kids moved back there for employment only. I see them often and I still can't wait to get of that dumpy town when I am there.

Marty Zifvko's!!! Oh yes, great times there, Saturday nights hold great memories for me at M Z's!!! Though I haven't been skating in ages it seems! Sorry alholzm that you feel the way that you do about Kenosha. I happen to love it here. My friends and I back in the late 70's used to ride our m'cycles down to the marina and kick it in various places down here, especially the beach and the pier. Went pier jumping once or twice and alot of fishing. As for Bradford H.S., there is no love lost there, I wouldn't send my children there if it was the last H.S. on earth. Bitter taste there, though I never went there, I schooled in Menomonee Falls, WI. For me, the armpit capital would be Milwaukee for the most part, it has really fallen to the sewers. Big Star is and always will be the best, and definately a tradition. Yes, I have to agree, there are alot of losers here in Kenosha, then again, losers, per se are everywhere, just depends on ones definition of a loser. As for me, I find there is plenty to do here in Kenosha. Since I grew up in a small town, I've learned to scope out all the coolest knick and cranies and have taken great advantage that they all have to offer. I hope that you do have a smooth move to Madison...a true party town and it is everything that you wish it to be!
