They don't even show their real pictures or they don't even have a pic. This sight seems like nothing but a bunch of nonsense and a big waste of time.

Don't bunch all of us into one group. There are decent men out there.. just as believe there are decent women. When you get to know someone, watch for any "red flag" things they say / do. Also, don't fall fast for them... take your time & really get to know them. This is a lesson I had to teach myself over & over in years past. I'm not trying to preach or shoot your post down.. just telling you what has helped me & that not all of us are liars, sex fiens, or game players.

It's not just this site they are on a lot of them. Male and Female, you have to be careful and weed through your contacts. It's gets easier to spot the game players and scammers. Just be careful!

I will be alone for X-mas and New Year's which is very depressing. I am beginning to wonder if I will ever find the love of my life. I have so much to give and no one to give to.

The same can be said of the women in this place. Feminazi trash who hate men and wish to impose their lesbian view on the world.
But I will tell you that you WILL meet some great people in here if you have the patience. You just have to weed out the crap from the good stuff.
My lover will be arriving here soon and I met her on here.
So be patient and make noise and you will eventually meet that special someone.

you need too take the time too get know em. If I was a watching out for one. (and I am not one). Watch for immediate talks about the following.
Sex, Location, and money.
If a someone was truly wanting too find a new friend or a mate. They would do like they would on a first date. Small talk, see how they respond. Then after another online chat. A good morning, or how are you. Stuff like that.
I know of one of my friends who gets an immediate, I love you, love your profile, I want too put your picture up everywhere. Or the line of God meant for us too be together.
Bah.
Treat the online thing like you would in the real world. If too much is given out, then move on too the next potential suitor. I don't get allot of responses, but those who I do know are truly good friends. You will find your suitor. Just be your self, with a little guard added too it.

I'm the proverbially "nice guy that finished last". I'm so sick and tired of being alone and being rejected.

I agree with SAA1959 ... trucker1374 you could try being a gentleman. It seems it is alright for men to generalize woman but the minute a woman does a whole lot of feathers get ruffled. Face it people it isn't a perfect world and there are no perfect people. We all have to deal with rejection, lies, and games. The right person will come to all of us we just need patience and fortitude. Maybe the New Year holds love for all of us in search of it.

I think SAA and Trucker are looking at the same issue from opposite ends of the spectrum. SAA is unhappy that a lot of people don't post pictures (or at least accurate ones). Trucker is unhappy that he's posted honestly and has yet to reap any benefits from that. There's room for frustration on both sides.
That said, name calling isn't going to improve matters and neither are gross generalizations. I'll just raise my glass to cac55's hopes for the New Year. Nicely said, cac55.

Well, I have met a few men that like to play games and I also have heard from a few that there are alot of women who approach them looking to get into the country.
Hmm, sounds like it goes both ways. Your instincts will tell you "what they are about" and if they are married or just playing games.
That is when move on....knowing that finding the "right one" can be hard work.
That is my 2 cents on the subject.
Hopefully things will change......for 2007 !! ????
