Posts: 144 There are some houses near the lakes that are still at least partially under water, and have been now for a month. Yesterday it was announced on the news that these lakes will be lowered to solve the problem. I dont know anywhere this lake water can go except the rivers, so if you live next to a river as I do, expect the possibility of yet more flooding. My basement is only just now drying out.
