I saw the post re the horses and scrolled up to see who was riding a horse.....duh.....
The mare was pregnant and destined for slaughter'after' she foaled....the owners said she was dangerous.....not true...I'm a wimp around horses and I wasn't ascared of her....she even let me milk her when the foal didn stand up for hours....
I miss them so much....I got them a dream home....I don't have land and I couldn't afford to keep boarding them out. It hurts to love and lose and that foal bonded to me 'before' he bonded to his mother.....first time I had an experience like that...veeery powerful
Now in reference to the BEER.......I should apologize for my previous 'flippity' reaction to the 'sincere' question posed in this thread....but...but....but.
..truth be told.... I don't drink beer and I hate to expose my ignoranc in a public forum soooo I faked it
There now I've confessed...hope I'm forgiven and I'm glad you all who answered the initial post did better than I.
p.s......yes....I was told that the mother was part arab and that winter after she foaled I couldn't put a blanket on her cause she was nursing and she didn't grow a very thick coat which is typical of Arabs....I don't remember her having much of a 'dish'((concave on nose for the 'unhorsey ones..bless u)))

Being born and raised throughout BC I can help you out here. There are 3 main beer companies that have the other brands included. Molson is likely the leading one at this time. They also carry budweisers. Sleeman Brewerys hits things like bacardi and pale ales. Okanagan Springs. Labat is the other. For specific beers in BC on the popularity chain? Hard to say which is the most popular for many people switch it up. So top alcoholic drinks I can think of: Molson Canadian, Budweiser, Pale Ale, Kokanee, Corona, Kaluha, Vodka, Baileys, and many other screw around college kid drink mixes. All these show up throughout the province. Lol, on second thought, you don't have to believe any of this for I don't drink much myself and dislike beer immensely. I stick to the wines. Champagne is ok but why have it when there is a very decent white wine around instead? Reds for cooking and more social dinners. Relaxing in more open natural atmospheres or that huge fireplace. Whites for higher end dinners and relaxing in more confined areas such as a hotel room in the middle of downtown Vancouver. Relax. These are just my personal general guidelines to preference.

I saw Lucky mentioned, but I'm surprised Moosehead hasn't been mentioned.
