I am in BC Canada and am on this site to meet some relatively local people to hang out with and have fun by expanding my social circle. Posts: 4 grumble, the frustrating forum software just ate the wonderful post I made here just moments ago. I clicked on "post" and it reloaded the screen with a blank message box.

Anyhow how's life on the other side of the puddle? Port Moody is having a grand sunny spring day. I just saw an eagle fly overhead and the snow on Mt Seymore looks so pretty.

When I drag myself away from working on web design, graphic design, and writing on the computer I find myself volunteering at the Port Moody Station Museum or when I can with the SCA - Medieval recreation society. I am actually a member of the board of directors for the Port Moody Heritage Society which runs the museum.

I find myself a bit socially isolated and seek more friends and companions. I do have many great friends, though time and distance have increased the barriers to getting together.

Now I am going to copy this message before I post it... just so if it disappears again I can still recall it without having to type it all out again.

Now I figure it out. There is a little post button here with the message box, but also a post reply button by the post I am replying to. Click on the later and it opens a new message window.

I hope you do meet some local oeople Blue and while you're waiting you can make some wonderful friends from all over North America and even a few from overseas through participating in the forums and blogging.
