Mar 9, 2006 @ 1:20 AM Mcdonalds food     rythemrevue Posts: 106 Just a silly thought..and no I am not one of these tree hugging against the beuracrats because they are plotting against us people... but is it my imagination.. or are those hamburgers at McDonalds getting smaller than they used to be? I rarely eat there so maybe this is why I noticed it? I think instead of raising prices to increase profits... their buns.. meat paddies etc.. are actually smaller than they used to be. Ever since neither one of us will eat fast food.   Jun 3, 2007 @ 6:51 PM Mcdonalds food     Richard231 Posts: 9 ...in a word "dreadful" and to be avoided wherever possible. ...not sure what their burger meat is made of, but the skinny steamed patties of a soft squishy texture reminds me of something a lot more unpleasant... they are definitely not made of Grade A Beef. Now compare that to the DQ or Wendys... even Burger King is better ...maybe not your choicest of Angus cuts (Burger King offers that option for extra $ and they are pretty decent) but definitely of a higher quality....fresh and cooked to order. MickyD's hasn't always been as bad as they are now...maybe the HamBurglar has been raiding the pig pen. About the only thing going for McDonalds is their fries... if that's your thing. Unlike say Burger King or DQ they don't dip their fries in a preservative to keep the potatoes from going brown.... DQ's and A & W's fries in particular are horrible tasting.... you can actually taste the preservative they use... not to mention the MSG. ...YUK
