Ever notice when someone tries to scam you and you let the "matchdoctor" no about it that they really are not concerned? I guess they don't want to loose a pretty face Lots of scammers on this site as seen on the "anti scammer sites"

You know what I think I recently had a scammer, but didn't get scammed..It is quite interesting. By the way I'm from Ontario...This guy sent me an email, I looked at his profile and he just kept saying throughout his profile that he wanted an honest woman, who didn't cheat etc.. I was impressed and his picture WOW! So I gave him my yahoo address..We started chatting and he said he was a single dad working in Europe (he said he lived in the States) He said his son NEEDED a playstation2 and would I buy him one I said no. Then he said he would send me the money to buy one for his son and one for my child I said no(I wasn't telling him my address!) He also said he wanted to meet me. I said no that I was fine with chatting. After awhile he said he had to go have a bath. I said ok. BTW my daughter was sitting next to me while we were chatting she was perplexed also with him asking me to buy a playstaion2. The next day at work I told my friends and I knew then I would not be chatting with this guy anymore, But I told my friends that I would print out his picture. I got home that night, took him off my yahoo. Went to his profile to print the picture and what do ya know his account is canceled. Isn't that funny?  Sometimes I think I'm too naive..but in this case I had this guy pegged! Thankfully!

I've had a few e-mails from women giving me their privet e-mail addresses.I won't answer them and give away mine. I don't think you should give anyone info for a long time. Just have fun and meet good ppl.

I've had maybe 15 replies from China... yet I'm on another free site and have had NOT one single query from all of Asia... ... professional poses with fake studio backgrounds? ... naaaah ..I don't even bother replying. You gotta know they are fake, or they are from some pay matchmaking site.
Even if they are genuine, which I highly doubt, getting together is getting to be all but impossible... Immigration are getting to be a royal pain in the a$$, the usury fees they charge make getting your sweetheart home cost an arm and a leg. And the lazy bums take forever and a day to do anything.... Even visitors visas are getting to be almost impossible from many countries. Just try to get a visitors visa for your Russian sweetheart. What hot place froze over? Njet is the answer.

:) well.. all i can say is that
there are always some good and some bad people..in all races..
i got scammed by my ex too~he is white,..so??
but it doesnt mean all of em are the same.. right?
when a country is poor.. women over there are always the first to suffer
being hookers, got raped, etc.. this is why there are so many chinese women who would rather go to other countries, even if they have to be in some BUSINESS.. its their way of living...
hahaha.. but then..
IF.. someone here really got scammed in the internet..
then.. WELL.. this is the only thing i can say.."Learn ur lesson"

98% of Chinese profiles are set up by paid interpreters (these are fake and very dishonest). The interpreters are paid by there client to find them a Western husband, most do not speak English even though it may say they do in there profile.
The interpreters read and answer the emails that are sent to the (fake profiles…) the client never even reads the emails that you send to her.
The interpreter will tell you everything you want to hear just to get you to obtain a Passport and Visa, fly to China to meet them… This will usually cost you about $2,000 to $3,000. this includes plain tickets that cost about $1,200.00 Depending on how long you’re off work and how long you stay in China.
The Chinese women have nothing invested in you coming to see them. They know that even when you find out they can’t speak English or that their picture was doctored to make them look prettier you may still marry them so that you don’t feel you will leave with “nothing”.
The Chinese women don’t care if you’re fat, bald or handicap and in a wheel chair… (No slam to those in a wheel chair but I had to make this important point) the main goal it to get a green card to live in the US… they know that they can always divorce you later.
These women call naive American men “Western tickets”.
Other women from other countries do the same thing but the biggest percentage comes from China.
They may even give you their client’s phone number so you can call them. But they can only say “I love you” or “I miss you” because this is what the translator told them to say whenever you call them.
Avoid the fake profiles that often will say in there email or profile that they are “traditional” or “honest” Traditional Chinese women do not pay an interpreter to find them a white western husband. Also the emails they send to you will ask in the first email to send them an email to an alternate email address.
Avoid the profiles with “glamour shot pictures”
Emails they send are most always a pre-written “form letter”.
These women are usually well educated, smart and very ambitious and want to get out of China and poverty as soon as possible.
These interpreters will never talk to you using an online web cam to view and talk for their potential Asian clients… 98 percent wont do it because you will find out the truth. They will make up an excuse that they don’t have a web cam… Even if you bought them one and sent it to them they would not use it. They would just have a free web cam.
Where a man in America may look for a potential good Chinese wife. 98% of these Chinese woman will only be looking to tell you what you want to hear to come to the US.
This information is not a slam to China women. Like I said about 2% are really looking for love… It is the 98% that you have to look out for… Just be careful and don’t waste money flying to China like I almost did a few months ago.

There are scammers everywhere--so keep the wallet closed . If people want to meet you then let them get their passport, visa and airplane ticket and come visit you. Most will not for they are either being set up like a madam chicks. The madam takes the girls pictures, reads the mail and answers it. sometime the girl is involved and they charge you for interpreting the mail. Then there are a few that are real. they are visa/green card hunters .
I travel to China from time to time and let me tell you the average woman is POOR. Be careful with the culture.
But it happens everywhere--even here on Match doctor.
As one woman said ""and what do you bring to the dinner table"" Now this is a GOLD DIGGER.
YOU HAVE TO BE CAUTIOUS WITH ALL WOMEN. THERE IS A GAME TO BE PLAYED--THEY WILL

I fully agree, there are a lot of scammers out there, I think the worst is "my child needs surgery" OH REALLY, then go to a doctor, or they think that because we happened to look at their profile that we want to jet plane to them for sex, come on guys we have a brain and know better.

Most scammers of men are from Nigeria.Its a boiling room of men on computors.They use photos of gorgeous models (without their knowledge or consent) and send men messages that they are very interested in them and they start making plans to move to Canada to be with you.They eventually start asking for money and they hope these gullible Canadian men will offer to pay for their flight etc.The money really goes to these scammers from Nigeria and Russia.I don't seriously think that a gorgeous 21 year old super model would be interested in me.I'm not a total moron and I don't fall for these things.I don't even answer them because every time you answer them,these scammers make bonus money.So men:BE VERY CAUTIOUS!!!!!!!!!.

I've had a few e-mails from women giving me their privet e-mail addresses. On a site like this one, that alone should be a HUGE red flag-why would anyone feel the need to give their "private" email first off, when this site provides free, unlimited email?

Yea there are lots of them but they try to use a email that isn't going to show anything to MD. I copied some emails from a girl who in the email even said her id at MD and sent it in with a copy from the scammer pages of her and she is still on the site. I obly reply now to people I write to unless they have a web cam.
