Well, it has become cold in February. I guess we were spoiled the rest of the winter and this reality is hitting hard. Is there anyone in Manitoba who is actually looking to become involved without playing games?

I have been here in manitoba for 5 years and yo uknow what this place is the Capital of Drama i moved away form nfld to get away from it all and its seems to be getting worse the further west you go i mean there maybe are a few nice men here but the good ones are taken or gay lol and you mid as well forgt about military boys lol cause thats exactly what they are but good luck with finding the serious ones lol the way i see it is that you got to play the game with them and turn the tables around dish out what they do but with your own style and you'll see .... it works to your advantage i know t hat being single gets lonel and s*** but you only live life once have fun get as much out of it as you can
we women dont need men to be happy the sooner we realize that the more men will realize that they need to straighten up there acts and BECOME MEN

Wow... I must say that was one of the most interesting emails I've ever received. Sorry it took me a while to read it. Well I know how you feel, as that stuff is true. Thats why I don't go to bars often, and if I do, I don't have intentions of trying to pick up chicks, as those places are just meat markets for one nighters. What kind of things do you love to do? Rollar blading, working out, or any kind of sports? If you have a cell phone and would like to SMS me you can send it to 355-7285. That way I could talk to you a little better. Or you could write to my main email address, {email address removed}
Well I should go make some dinner, I hope you had a great weekend, and I look forward to hearing from you.
Cheers,
Derek

You're a Newfie? 'Nuff said. Oh, relax! I'm just kidding around! I work with a Newfie or two and they're all good people. Does anyone here ever ask you to say "barn"? The accent is fun to hear.
As for your take on men, well, I agree with some of it but everyone should just be themselves. You are who you are and if others don't like it, that's their problem. Unless, of course, if who you are is a real jerk, then you should try to work on that. Just my two cents.
Thanks for reading.

Interesting. You leave one place just to find the same thing in another place. Now, if that were me, I'd be wondering what was wrong with *me*. I mean, that kind of thing following me around, I'd be asking myself why I conduct myself in a manner that keeps the normal people at bay, and attracts the less than desirables.
But that's just me. I'm not much for whining about my environment or running away from it. I'd rather fix things.
