Hi, I am from Manitoba too. I just couldn't sign up with a postal code, so I had to add a zip code (I made up one) so I don't know where it says I am from. lol... Would like to chat with people from MB or from anyone in Canada. I can't seem to do a search for Canada. Can anyone help me?

It seems to be fixed; I can filter Canada down to the province. However, the distance from function didn't work for me. I'm a relatively recent 'Tobin (Steinbach) of nearly five years now after my work at the Kenora (NW Ontario) papermill ended with its closing. You'll know I'm not a true local; f'rinstance, I signal my turns when I drive.
The postal code, that reminded me of when I bought some DVD's from ioffer on the web last year. To make a bid, I had to register in. The only province in the layers of login was Alberta. I backed out and got a null password. I tried for 'help' and it required a login - that was my problem! Finally, I got a gmail and tried again, successfully. It looks like they've changed their format considerably sunce then though.
I did notice the dates to these posts here don't include the year. That ought to be referenced for relevence.
