What are a few things that, when you see them, will completely turn you off to someone's ad? Things you see that just let you know immediately that you will not be compatible with that person, ever, on any level.
Be as specific or picky as you like and try to keep in mind the spirit of the thread; perhaps it will evoke a wind of change (though I highly doubt it).
Here are a few of mine:
When the only picture a person has of themselves is a close up shot of their boobs.
Exceptionally poor grammar and spelling, including but not limited to excessive abbreviations.
Ex. if u dont have a pic i wont read ur profile
I mean come on. Is it really that difficult you type the two extra letters in 'you' or 'your?'
Anyone else have profile pet peeves?

I think my biggest pet peeve is definitely spelling. This is your profile that you are writing to try and attract someone, I would think it at least deserves to be read over before it is posted.
Guess I just pick up on it more so because I do a lot of proofreading in my job.

trucks...  brought back memories of the tv program "fall guy" used to jump my truck..but would never hump it..I had a van once too... 
oh yea..back on topic what Peeves me is people without pic's on their profile..( someone had to say it..)

Anyone else have profile pet peeves? < Has been DESPERATELY searching for Pet Peeves since I was 5 years old. Perferrably a purple mating pair. (seen here in search of peeves on a mountain top).
They are so rare, and I can't seem to find a peeve anywhere in the USA. Do they breed them in Asia or in the rain forest?
I looked on E-bay for Peeves and can't find them. Please Help

theres one that automatically sends the thought "nope, keep lookin" on some guys' profiles and thats "im just lookin for fun girls who wanna have "fun" ". why dont you just say im horny lets get it on. another thing that ive seen in a couple is "i only do drugs occasionally whats so bad about that" hello lol. and also the way people put their pictures in their profile, hello it says no nudity. i dont wanna read someones profile and see their goods, thats not what im lookin for. Also, if you wanna know somethin about me then you'll just have to ask. Thats the whole reason I read your profile is to see who you are duh lol.

I don`t have a dog...but i have to agree...one-liners on profiles doesn`t really tell you a whole lot...

Yet...ok...guys have trucks...
what's with so many women having their pet in their arms in their pics???
Is that a challenge? Is it a statement of how close they are to their pets? Why would I want to see a pet???
I always sense its like Yosemite Sam and Bugs Bunny..."I dare ya to git through this pet, varmint."
I also don't answer the one-liners, or the 'if ya wanna know me yer gonna have to just ask!'
Welll...sure...sounds like an interesting marketing ploy...so ployish that I have no idea why I would ask...so I just keep on flippin channels. 
For me as well, if the profile has a strong religious tone to it, I know we won't be able to ring each other's chimes. If it has strong conservative tones to it, I have a fair hunch our relationship will probably be a bit too taxing...
But if they're profile has a great healthy dose of self-effacing humor and insight...I find myself rubbing myself on the side of the monitor...
maybe that was TMI???  .
