PRIME Attraction Factor between the Sexes??

I read this somewhere recently --
MEN are Visual Creatures, or Appearances ONLY;
while
WOMEN are attracted by Voices of Men, which may be Sexy, Smooth, Soothing...
[NOTE - Sexy, Smooth, Soothing...are all Subjective]
My Observations:
To Men:
Beauty Fades and then what??
To Women:
What happens if his Voice does not have a Positive Correlation to his Looks??
Any Comments??

If hes got a sexy voice but isn`t good looking that shouldn`t matter at all...at least to me it isn`t...thats not at all what i look for or what attracts me to a man..

Artemis what you read may apply generally or superficially but it does not apply to everyone or every situation. A beautiful woman can suddenly become very repulsive in my eyes if she smokes, uses abusive language, doesn't have any vision or common sense, cusses, uses gobs of makeup, or just generally has a bad attitude about life.
Voices may attract women but I believe that most women are intelligent and if they are attracted to a man and he is similar to the above description then they are repelled as well.
Exceptions are those that are sadists or have some mental problem that requires them to be around negative, abusive, grotesqe people.

this one is gonna die if i don't slap a holy roller! well, in my case, i was married to a short fluffy blond, so, now i'm chasing a tall redhead with personality! oh, forgot the holy roller slap! my ex called and wanted to know if i had ever commited adultry. i said do the hustler mags under my side of the bed count? logic implies she was looking for that loophole. (she is a holy roller) but since we don't gots any kids, the loophole is mine! LOL it don't matter to me. i'm free. "oh happy day" amen and pass the biscuits!

OMG...for once i agree with the study!
to me a man with a soothing voice-deep sexy are a big turn on. i mean if i were to talk to a man and he 'squeeked' like a girl....NO FRICKEN WAY!
if i like the sound of his voice and feel secure in him, the 'looks' don't have much to do with it-well you DO have to have attraction of somekind, but they don't have to be drop dead gorgeous.

Danger - that's exactly how I felt! I can't believe it, a study that fits me too...a deep voice is a huuuuuuuge factor for me. And James Earl Jones' voice could definitely send me to the dark side...

I totally agree with sealacamp. 
I've seen many knockout women I'm initially attracted to, only to find out differently the minute they spoke and revealed how cruel, shallow, stupid, narcissistic, vulgar, arrogant, [insert own turn off here] they "really" are. Of course I can lust after a woman just based on her looks, but that doesn't mean I'd follow up.
Beauty, in many cases, IS only skin deep.

The very first thing that attracts me to a man is, obviously, what I SEE. But ...that doesn't mean he has to fit most people's idea of a "hunk" or GQ model or whatever; it simply means there's something about him that I like.
Usually it's one of three things; his eyes, his smile and how he wears his hair (his overall general appearance and if he's neat and clean or if he's sloppy and unshaven/unkempt). Obviously if he's just walked off a construction site, I take that into consideration.
But after that, looks wise, it's his hands. Something about a man's hands ...mercy.
And, THEN, if on top of all of that he has a sexy voice, OMG. But if he sounds like Woody Allen or Truman Capote, somehow all the other traits just don't quite make up for that.

I am into a man's voice. I have dated a couple of men with slightly unappealing voices/tones before and I got over it. If their "sound" is pretty bad though I can't make myself get over it.

For the most part I agree with sealacamp, we're all different. Although I have a weakness for a deep, sexy voice it has got to be contained in a somewhat matching "packaging" and qualities. And supposing I had to choose between two men who were equally "qualified" the one who made me feel the best would be the one to win my heart.
When I was dating my children's dad as a friend (when we met I did not feel attracted to him), I had the opportunity to date a guy I had considered very sexy but whose behavior left something to be desired. During the date all he wanted was to grope me and that was a big turn off, besides months earlier he'd cancelled a date with me for a New Year's ball and later I saw him walk by with another girl  . It was easy for me to see who really respected me so I began to really appreciate him that night.

jeanc, i met this woman from georgia online and she wanted to see my hands on webcam, i thought that was kind of strange but obliged her...she said "they are nice" and that was that. i didn't think much of it until after we met. after several dates she said ummm, "your hands can do no wrong"
what's up with that?
