Be it MD or any other matching site, do you ever wonder to yourself why you're there? Why make an effort?

I have nothing better to do.

Except maybe get off my lazy butt and go for a walk, but that's not the point!

If you don't want to be here, then don't. It all depends on what you're getting out of the experience.

YESBut then I decided to stop chatting it up with strangers, and start just reading forums and looking at pictures.... hey, maybe not as interesting as a good book, but much better than home shopping network. IMHO

Every now and again.. but then, I feel that part of me that believes there is that one lasting relationship meant to happen, if I learn the credo.."all in His time"... and it quiets the nagging little voice that whispers.. "give it up"...

I gave up on making an effort a long time ago. These days I come here to jabber at my friends and hope to stumble across "The one".

From some of the mail I get it appears that a lot of people do their "window shopping" in the forums without posting.

Why? Hmmm good question.... I been to nearly every dating site, and it the same.... this one is no different... I only check in time to time in case my email decides to send any notifications to my junk mail... otherwise I don't even bother.... The chance of meeting anyone for anything, including just being friends is remote... I have more luck making friends being part of other groups I sometimes get involved in... such as for bands etc.

So, why do I bother? Maybe I find that one in a billion hmmm trillion person that would be different. I don't even make an effort anymore... a waste of energy.... I wink... if they don't wink back... I not even bother with a note....

the forums i usually hangout were mostly opensource sites as i want to improve my coding skills. but for relationship type thing, i have an early start with MD. you can think of it this way: i am here to socialize when i get board with technical stuff and also to improve my English coz i tend to forget it when i have to speak, listen and read in Japanese everyday of my life 7 days a week, 24 hrs a day.

I Earl, put that post in my post, and chose what are you thinking of right now. I was not describing my career, at all, i just wanted to share what i felt when HOSPITAL PATIENTS HAD POSIBLE COLON CANCER...This isn;t what i feel is a career, but i would do it for free, because i love human beings, simple as that, i wanted a man to live, i feel it is not a trade but a care.. And i wanted to choose. I will never discuss medical in here again. the topic of what of/or about i was thinking about rmight now only.because i chose what i felt One think i do not understand, is why do people think grammer or typos, means you do not have this talent? These symptoms, come from many labs, and RN nurses. I love you all, please understand me......earl
