This is a new one and they say it's not only social discrimination......
While researchers have long shown that tall people earn more than their shorter counterparts, it's not only social discrimination that accounts for this inequality -- tall people are just smarter than their height-challenged peers, a new study finds.

Hmm...I was very tall as a child (always in the back row of class pictures) and I did score high on all those damn tests!
This explains why I like taller men.

well, i would like for dem signteest to come on down to L A and check out me and my brothers. we are all over 6 foot but for some reason my 3 younger brothers wanted to be the caboose! the 3 sisters are about 5'6" or less. mom was the tallest gal in my family. i think its just a bit of publicity for another moinkey to git his/her name on the front page. i don't think you munchkins have anything to worry about. i do not dout that i could have been a contender but, i have this hangup with being a christian. i touch my knee for no one but a child. how else ya gonna see eye to eye with them. selah

Albert Einstein was 5'9" and I don't think Stephen Hawking would be that tall, even without his disabilities... I think the actual point of the study was that inadequate nutrition can both stunt growth and mental development...somebody just put the taller people are smarter spin on it to get more people to pay attention...
Fun size huh??? That have anything to do with where your head is when you're dancing with a taller woman???

I don´t think that taller people are smarter...however, I agree that there may be a bias towards taller people. Perhaps in our minds we somehow defer to the taller person because they may "appear" to be a leader....maybe...any comments?

actual point of the study was that inadequate nutrition can both stunt growth and mental development.
The proof is my husband and his brother. The rest of the family is short.
They are tall they say because they GOT the right nutrition after leaving Cuba.
