men: send you e-mails,sound eager,excited,happy to get to know you,a few mild exchanges,..and then---NOTHING !!! whats up w/ that??? 
time:things take time! good things come to those who wait! you've waited this long whats a little more time if it could mean finding the one of your dreams !??! do people honestly jump right into things after a few e-mails?? i find that to be really amazing if it's true!!! and i'm sorry(or not'cause i shouldn't be)...but i can't do that. i need time to get to know the TOTAL stranger that has just dropped me a sweet tid- bit.and in an age when there are some REAL wierdos out there...is that too much to ask?!!?! i think not!! some internet time...then some phone time...then IF you've really made a connection...some real time--some one on one, romantic nites, fun filled days, the real get-to-know-me-so-you-can-really-love-me! stuff that long-lasting for-a-lifetime relationships are made of !!! ~TIME~
honesty:how much of that is there (really) on "the internet" ?? what are you getting yourself into when you rush head-long into an internet love match? a true, HONEST, loving, lasting, full-filling relationship!!?! be honest w/ yourself then take the time needed to see where things are going if they are going anywhere...it may be well worth witing for !!!  Honesty is the best policy!
reality:the reality is...you wont find true, real, love over-nite,..you have to put some energy/effort into it and if you don't...well then,it's just a fling--not the real thing!!!  ---so best of luck to all of you! --no reply needed..i was just pondering !!

Seems that you have the whole schedule going on. It's just that some people don't live by schedules. What you need to do is let go of your preconceived notions, just go with the flow and have fun. Trust your intuition. Sometimes it's OK to forego all the preplanned steps.

I've seen numbers that say 98% of online relationships never get past the first meeting.... why invest a ton of effort in something that may not have a chance when you meet?
I'm on here to make friends, laugh, have fun and kill time... I don't date, and I plan on never dating again.... its my choice, my life....

what are you getting yourself into when you rush head-long into an internet love match? a true, HONEST, loving, lasting, full-filling relationship!!?! be honest w/ yourself then take the time needed to see where things are going if they are going anywhere... Because there are Unspoken Rules and Guidelines about online dating and it's Unwritten -- so people "fly by the seat of their pants and go on whatever catches their fancy"

perhaps the "Customary Courteous" Mores of traditional daily life do not carry over to this Internet world, or you may have Expectations that others may not hold in such high esteem. Remember, as we mature -- Our Attitudes, Values and Habits do Change...

Ive figured out it a waste of time and emotions to get romanticly excited about anyone online.This site I like because a person can indeed get excited when communicating between friends and making new ones along the way.
Guess I just save up for any romantic excitement hopefully happening when meeting in person.

Sometimes you just cget lucky and find someone who isn't a thousand miles away. I few hours is a distance that can be overcome.
