I had a year long relationship, with a woman in DC (I live about 6 hours away in Charlotte) that I traveled to see, at least twice a month. I had a short term relationship, with a woman in West Palm Beach, which did not work out as well, but I traveled to see her three times.
To date, that is the furthest that I have traveled for a relationship and yes, I would do it again, for the right woman.

That person would have to be something spectacular to even make me consider a LDR.
Usually LDR's are with someone pretty spectacular. How right you are Mom! Yes he is spectacular! The first time he came to see me, I paid for his ticket. (I was the one that wanted to meet so soon... 2 months of emails, phone, cam) Boy, was the magic there! Then I traveled to see him, then he came up again, and I proposed!
Can't wait to make it legal. Come on MAY Camping Trip!!!

Sorry Tink. It kinda sounds like it was a painful experience. I hope that the negative results were very short-lived.

Sure, I've traveled all the way to the great white north for love, and more than once. I've also bought plane tickets for my girls to come here. If you are serious about meeting, what's a few thousand miles?

I'd have to really think about it before doing it again. I mean, with the cost of jet fuel these days, traveling anywhere in that Gulfstream can get a little pricey, you know?

I was reading that trips to gambling casinos are very inexpensive. They have special rates to get you there.
