Many may remember the movie harper valley PTA with Barbara Eden, ever since i was a young boy at age 10 she turned me on, and at age 50 she still turns me on, she has the figure that matches the type figure on a female i adore, but she was at her best for me in that movie i mentioned above!!

But, if i met her in person now, i'm more layed back now, i would probably just want to be friends with her. I have found women to be more value for what they have upstairs, than anything else....Next....Earl

. . ., oooops . . . ., sorry . . . ..couldn't help myself.

I am flattered and fumbling, stammering and stupefied, astonished but oh so appreciative that I have attracted your attention, Artemis. I humbly accept this esteemed honor on behalf of all of the rest of us cynical old farts attempting to avoid celibacy . . .

If I am movin' to fast for ya, just let me know and I will turn the pacemaker down a notch or two . . . . the knee replacements sometimes allow me more speed than my high mileage would deem prudent.

and by the way, thanks Artemis

Oh wait . . .you were picking me as the "Man of our Dreams" . . ..yes? Or were you just targeting/challenging me as a contributor? Oh shnit, I may have stepped in it again. I am so confused . . .damn AARP!

...Oh, come now... I am a Gemini; known for multi tasking and ambidextrous abilities.

harper valley PTA with Barbara Eden
You bet Earl; that woman is now 72 years old and still great looking legs. I am going to have to raise my age limits on this thing and see what I am missing...

sorry, doncasto -- You are yesterday's Flavor of the Month, like at Baskin Robbins....

Today I have a different Shopping List for my Sadie Hawkins day --

maybe a young Stud like 'johnw' who's Dirty Wun years young;
maybe somebody Mature & Down-to-Earth like NB4;
maybe somebody like Motown for his Wit NOT for his Bod;
maybe somebody who can Cook like Pete;
maybe somebody like IrishEagle who can write Poetry;
maybe somebody like Sponge who's always Lightning Fast with his comments;
maybe somebody like Robo who Tickles my FunnyBone, and like Pali says, we may end up with Virtual Stitches
OH, too much to think, MAYBE I'll just LOOK for that Thread for that Guy who gives Good Back Rubs.....

Oh well, I will just have to find someone else to wipe the drool from my sagging chins. I thought I had been saved by Sadie Hawkins day, but now I am back to having to relying upon my excessive wealth, expert dancing skills and convenient geographic location.

But, after considering the quality of the competition . . . I can see you are much better off with the "tag team" approach to your "Man of My Dreams" search . . .

. . .another brief bright moment extinguished in a flood of fickleness

YMMV, always consider the course

Actually, Artie...I found that Sadie Hawkins Day is celebrated in November (the Saturday that follows November 9th).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sadie_Hawkins

http://www.lil-abner.com/sadiehawk.html

And since it's celebrated now by women asking men to go to the Sadie Hawkins dance with them, I think I'll limit my "call out" to just asking a man to the dance. Seems we've got a little over a month to find our dates, eh?
