Of course, ladies can respond as well....
On average, how many responses do you get a day on matchdoctor?
I hardly ever get any responses. I'm just wondering if it's just me, or do most of us guys on here get very few legitimate responses?

I get quite a few winks but I get only about one or two responses a day on here. It only takes one though...The right one to email you and yall hit it off and end of story.

sorry to bug you, but why don't u make better pictures? i always get scared of the faces close to the camera when one eye is bigger than the other one and no smile and you can see pimples... hmm.. i know what i will hear after writting that, just could not resist LOL

Got e-mails from 5 women and about 6 winks.
All of the women that winked at me were either:
1) not the body type that I was looking for
or
2) 5 or more years older than me
or
3) over 1000 miles away
or
4) have kids
2 of the e-mails were just to promote other sites and some of the winks were from asia and africa and I'd bet those were sent by overseas brides agancys...

I really don't contact people with whom I would have No Intrest ( be it age, distance whatever)
I get that also.. Hits from guys that are young enough to be my kids..
This is mind boggling WHY???
I think perhaps they feel like I need a thrill and they are doing me a favor.. No Thanks
BUT I DO Answer (Usually along the lines of)
Thanking Them for the intrest
and informing them that My Dentures are older than they are..
If they would like to stay in contact on a strickly friendship basis.. I can handle that...
I very seldom have a reply back to this..

I am not sure what this says, though before the forum I got about a 100 or so views and about 20 winks a month. That was from plain writing and keeping up with it.
Now thanks to the forums, I have been viewed like 273 times this week and have a s***e load of mail, though I answer just about everything I like to go back and forth with people, that is the only way to learn.

I respond to every wink and 99% of the emails that I get. Part of the reason that I do is because momma taught me to be polite. A quick "Thanks for the wink, how's the weather where you live" lets the person that you are sending the email to know that (a) you got their wink and (b) you have manners. If I see something in their profile that we have in common I will ask about whatever it is and see if we can't get a conversation started.
My biggest "problem" with sites such as this one is the lack of basic manners from the average person on the site. Sorry but if I take the time to send someone a wink or an email I feel that they should have the basic manners that we teach children and acknowledge it even if it is only to say "Thanks". It's funny, in a strange way, I can narrow down the "type" of person one is simply by whether or not they respond to emails and winks.

Hmm.. I am not a religous user of the site myself.
I am one who Does NOT reply to winks waves nudges etc.
If i get a note/letter I will answer it.
I have my reasons, mainly i dont think people actually read the profiles, more so than scan faces then send nudges winks and the like.
I say they don't read as I get messages from married woman. kinda lame. as My profile defaintly makes it known im not into that kind of hype 
But someone said earlier.. it only takes one...
