It's a good day. The local grocery store had a one day meat sale and I went shopping before work and bought a hundred lbs of meat.

Nothing to share I`m not superstitious...in the year 2009 my birthday will fall on Friday the 13th...oh as i said in another thread..i was born on that day..

One of the best vacations I ever had was with my mother and we left on Friday the 13th.
It was one of those vacations where everything goes even better than you hoped for and I have never forgotten it.
I have never had a negative thought about this day since then!

My Friday the 13th was a good one, lounged around the house, and Janet brought over a huge bucket of original kitucky fried chicken, with biscuits and two pints of mashed potatoes, and two containers of their dark gravy...One of my Favorites, slept awhile and woke up with her smiling at me, saying, looks like you loved my idea, i said, wonderfull....Earl

No, after I found out why that day is supposed to be superstitious, it never really bothered me again. I guess before, I was a bit leary.

Back when I was 14, my gym teacher thought it was a good day to start us on tumbling. I guess it was uneventful for much of the class, but I ended up with some dislocated vertebrae, a trip to the hospital, weeks in traction there followed by months in braces and a lifetime of back trouble. But no, I'm not really superstitious about the day, only about tumbling.
On the other hand, my trip to Tahoe began on Friday the 13th, pretty empty flight, and an absolutely fabulous weekend!!
