ever since i got my flu and pneumonia shot, i have been sick. two weeks of a temp of 100-103...now this weekend believe it or not, not only do i have the fever but my lungs arent' good...i thought the shot was to prevent all this....
well, one good thing..i lost 10 pounds in ONE day! yeah, i know its all fluid..but i was kind of happy to see that.
dr. thinks i may need a chest x-ray and may be pneumonia...

So sorry that u are not feeling well.  What you describe does not sound good. When adults get fever over 102, need medical care. I have three children and have info. on fevers etc. When doctor gives my children shots I found out that they are actually putting this illness into your body. Most times nothing happens, but there is a small percent of people who get sick. GO TO DOCTOR! Hope you feel better.

Aww, Danger...sorry you are not well, Hon. That is what the flu shots do to me too, and why I refuse to get them. Sounds like you've already seen a doc, but if you get any worse, please don't hesitate to go again.

Very sorry to hear about this Danger....
do u have someone to take u to emergency in case u have to go in the middle of the night....
a ''contingency'' plan.
Hope that doesn't happen but....!?!?

Aw, I'm sorry you're ill Danger.
It is true that adults with fevers such as yours shouldn't let it go.
(I learned from my daughter's many bouts with pnemonia, to have someone put their ear on your back. each side. Pnemonia sounds like "chewing rubberbands". )

Never had a flu shot. Never will. I've heard of too many people getting ill right after they get one. No thanks!
As was said before, get to the doctor. Pneumonia is nothing to mess with. Scary illness.
When I had pneumonia, the doc gave me some meds that look like mini bath oil beads. I think they were called "pearls", or some such thing. Cleared my chest up like you wouldn't believe. Good stuff!

i took my flu shot a few days ago too.. and it had me snifflling and sneezing but i think my resistance was down from too many hours worked but last night i took some alka selzter plus and it works .. i hope u feel better too.. Sweet N louisiana

I agree with everyone... You need to see your Doc!
5 yrs. ago, I got my 1st flu and pneumonia shot.... Also was the last time!
The next morning I woke up with a bad case of the flu and was
hospitalized for 5 days. After that... My Dr. doesn't even mention having the
shots to me... wonder why???

ok..today is the first day i've ate since friday..chicken boullion..but it was good! and i also had a little tea.
from me laying in bed all the time the dr thought i may have got pneumonia, but i guess it is just a bad lung infection-things should work out and be back to 'normal' in 7-10 days. i lost so much fluids that i have a pill to take (only ONE pill..so can't be too much) and also have to drink a ton of that gatorade ~shivers~ she wants me to drink atleast 3 bottles a day for the next 5 days, guess i was a little dehydrated...
