I just want to say thanks too...............
just got in from a pre rememberance day dinner at the legion .................my kids are in navy cadets and were helping to serve.................
during the speeches tonight one of the 'vets' there tonight had a stroke..............
was hard to listen to the rest of the speeches, knowing that there werent too many vets left.................
at the end of the speeches, they called each of the different squadrons to remember and thank them.................
there were a few squadrons that no longer had veterans to acknowledge..............
this will be something that i will from now on, always attend................

It is Veterans Day, I would like to thank all the men and women currently serving, along with our fine veterans who have sacrificed their time and lives to maintain our freedom. Bless you all and your families.

I want to thank all of our Veterans as well!! You will ALWAYS receive respect from those in MY household!!!!!!!

today is a special day indeed, although i remember him daily, my dad the ww2 vet, brings today so close to home. he was a pby pilot,(flying boat) in the south pacific, his plane was shot down 3 times, he was sole survivor from a crew of 8 once, spent 3 days floating in the ocean wounded once. he was a quiet man, rarely speaking of the horrors he survived serving his country. much of the brief descriptions here, were gleaned from stories told by family and newspaper clippings my dad saved in a shoe box, that we found after he passed. i stand at attention to salute my dad the vet, and the many others who served to keep our country free.

I know that government offices are closed today in honor of
Veteran's Day on this day 12th that started yesterday.
I want to give my thanks to all those that served in all branches of the military.
Thank you for those you placed everything on the line for our freedom here
in the USA. Thank you for being unselfish and giving of yourselves for
your country.
Marine 1st Lt. Andrew Kinard thank you for your sacrifice. It caused you both of your legs and yet all you thought about when you came back to SC was your men.
My brother serving, sister-in-law, Dad and step-dad that served in the Navy. Thank you.
I appreciate you all very much and I want you to know that. God bless you! 
Those of your in Iraq and other places in the world, you are in my prayers and thoughts. May God watch over you and protect you everyday.
