I have not watched a show in over three months.Well, have seen parts of shows at my parents while visiting. My TV is not plugged in. I moved it and did not bother. I don't understand how people have time to watch it. And I don't understand why someone would watch hours a day. Seems like a waste of your life. Ironicly, I'm trainied to be a video editor and have shot and produced TV shows for PBS and TV news...
So, TV or no TV?
When I'm not working I'm trying to fix up or clean my place or cook and often take classes. Keeps me busy.

Sometimes you just have to have something to talk about around the water-cooler. So I watch TV. I love House and the daily show as well as Bill Maher. I just have to have the news in the morning.
So ...TV please! That's my generations way of keeping up!

I have a TV, but i just use it mainly to watch VHS movies, or if i have CD movies i watch those on my PC, i have a very large monitor, so that works better really!! But i don't hardly ever watch it, i think more families would be better off without it, because if a household had no TV, they could talk more and share.
Now Computer yes, this i do a lot, because that's a real person on the keyboard typing in these topics and post, and that works better for me, and i usually keep my PC media player play music as i am in this forum....Earl
PS I knew i was firgetting something i wanted to add, I turn my TV on in the den, and in my back bedroom when i leave the house, it is a good crime prevention, because go figure, if you have two noisy TV,s playing in the house while you are not at home, it can help prevent burglary i think

Men In Trees is a good show. It makes me want to go to Alaska. Jeopardy is a favorite, I like to go to bed with Craig Ferguson.

Can't miss Desperate Housewives, LOST, Little Britain and Survivor.
Also like CSI (all of them), Law and order (all of them), Criminal minds, Simpsons and King of Queens.

I love watching House and CSI. Although this year's seasons are a little bit different. I don't like the cop guy on House, but hey it's still entertaining.
Yay for TV.

I rarely watch anything but shows about the financial markets and business, the Discovery Channel and sometimes that new show Little People in a Big World (I'm hooked on that thing!) these days. The only time I have for TV is when I eat a snack late at night before bed....maybe a couple of hours max a week total. I record everything I watch so I can focus my scarce TV time on just what I want.
I have not watched ANYTHING on the big network broadcast channels in years. The few times I tuned in I was appalled by the dismal quality of programming and the moronic level to which they stoop to appeal to an apparently mentally challenged viewership. What an entertainment and information wasteland!

I definitely watch TV. In fact, my major addiction is coming back next month...American Idol!
I tend to rotate between a few channels, but I definitely need my television!
I had a blind date Saturday night with a friend of a coworker. Out of everything we talked about and that he told me about himself - two Ph.D.s, runs his own business, writing a sci-fi novel, puts ketchup on his eggs, etc. - the thing that dropped my jaw was that he doesn't own a TV. ?!?!?!?! How can you not own a TV? Isn't that, like, communist or something? I think we spent half an hour just talking about that subject. Which is sad, really. Fascinating guy and I get stuck on "no TV." I felt very plebeian.
MJ - who still wants her TV!

I really wonder what my life would be like if tomorrow I had to completely cut Seinfeld out of it. I don't think it would be pretty.

I watch TV, mainly sports and news, and my house is almost always looking great, clean and tidy. As a single-parent, there is plenty of time to look after the house, play on the computer and watch tv... after all, going to classes or socialising would be great, but not with a young child at home unfortunately.

I could live without a TV, but I do enjoy watching movies at home. The only show I watch is Nip/Tuck. I think I may watch Dirt when it starts in January. That's it.

Ilike to watch House, Men in Trees, Greys Anatomy and NEWS and dancing with the stars ( I just love dancing ) the TV has been a source of companionship on long lonely nights..a source or information (like with wildfires right now etc) ..a source of entertainment( like the other night watching Polar Express with the kidlets ) and one of the most important advancements in the history of man.. it lets us keep abreast of news..lets us visit foreign lands, learn, laugh and more all from the comfort of our home...

I wish they would show the Flinstones and Jetsons.
News is fine, I like Jim Lehrer.
How much TV do you watch? I watch about 2 hours a day.
