Its the time of year for all kinds of scams ,I just read about one to a animal recuse group,How sad that they fell for it .So now they are out a lot of money .Posting this for all to beware.

.. hi Jeans.. it is very true that there are crooks and scammers out there and everyone should be aware..good post.
now to address some thoughts about charity scams.. the article stated
Appealing for help
Parente said Eleventh Hour, thinking it had $10,000 prior to the unseemly revelations, spent about $7,000 on spaying and neutering 11 dogs, and making sure all had the proper shots.
She said she is appealing to the public for help, and also trying to warn them.
this equates to over 700 dollars per dog for shots and sterilization
..
interesting point is, that by my math it should be under 100 dollars per dog for sterilization and shots..( based on google)

The costs adds up in a hurry.
so ... even though the rescue society did not send any "refund amount" back to the scammer.. are they scamming the public for donations based on fraudulently inflated costs?

I thought the very same ,,,,But if they in fact did pay off other debts,,,,,,Its another case of did the news report all.I am not sure .
I just wanted to bring it to others ,that there are scammers of all kinds out this time of year .

wish my vet was that cheap.. last time I took my critter in for neutering it cost 160 bucks for the surgery and the rabies shot..

A friend of mine played one ,,,he rececived the check for 120.000 and I checked into it ,,,,,it was a good fruad cheak .the company had that much money ,,,,and the signer was a real person .Its hard to understand ,,,why they can't get to these people .
We turn them it.Not sure if they were ever caught.But it was pretty cool to see how the scamers did it .

I'm visiting my parents today. My dad and I were watching TV. We keep seeing these commercials that try to sell viewers pieces of junk.
"You can get these TWO rings for the price of one. Call us now and order by credit card before it's too late!"
Puh-lease.
