Its only on certain medicines up here and most Walmarts in my area have it. I HATE Walmart! Although no one heard that since I work there I shouldn't be saying that, and no one heard that I work there because I don't want to admit that!

That pricing plan just got to Tennessee. Other stores, like Target, are matching prices, if you're one of those who hate Walmart on principle.

i haven't tried it, from what i read you can't have prescription insurance and they have a certain list of the medicines that they will cover, plus some are $4.00 for a couple days worth of medicine....and they do change the list. but....thats when i first heard about it, may be that it has changed since then??

I've got no love for Wally world but this is a good thing especially if it invites competition from other stores.

Both me and my father have switched our generics to Wally Mart. It's reduced our med bill by 2/3 per month.

If your copay is higher than the $4 price, you only pay the $4 price.

I went to our local WalMart to see if they had a printed list. They don't. They said I needed to bring in a prescription and they'd tell me if it qualifies
The "marketing theory" was good, the actual benefit process is lousy.

I could swear this list wasn't there a few weeks ago went I was huntin', lol.
And now I get it...they carry about 400 generic drugs, but only a small percentage are in the $4.00 program. (and of course nothing I need, naturally )
I saved a copy of the list "just in case", though.
Thanks
