What a terrific and original question!! I still have quite a few gifts from my childhood... The ones that come to mind at the moment are.. My Lost in Space motorized robot that Santa brought me when I was about 8... My Charlie Brown books that I got when I was about 7 or so. I'll think of some more.:)

That's a tough one... I think there's this small brass cannon my grandmother gave me years ago. I make sure it's taken care of. Just a small thing, but I've had it forever.

The only thing I can think of off the top of my head would have to be a plastic light up Santa decoration my aunt got me when I was 9-10. Being a pack rat, that is prolly not the oldest, just one I seen recently.

a brass bank that looks like Jack and Jill. Got it when I was four years old from the ambulance driver that used to take me back and forth to the hospital. One of my prized possesions.

I have a small brass alarm clock my uncle gave me 20 years ago. I still wake up to it every morning.
Mind you, it ticks loud enough to hear across the room, and the face doesn't light up so you can read the hands, nor does it have any fancy stuff that it does. I'll replace it one of these days, just as soon as it quits working...

My "Bride Doll" that I got when I was 5...the year I found her hidden in the closet and then my parents said she was from Santa. Oh! The disillusionment! No Santa! Why do I still have that doll?! She certainly wasn't a good omen...disillusioned marriages too!
I still have "Midge" that I got when I was 7. Who knows what else I have hidden in my closets. I'm such a packrat.
