One date hiked as if she was being forced at gunpoint through the Bataan Death March, another whined and complained the whole time as if we were contestants on Survivor, while the last one didn't even show up at all. All three had one thing in common, though: They all "Loved the outdoors."
Is a little stroll in the country so bad? Do they really like it out there in the sticks, or are they just saying that in much the same way a guy will say he just loved watching a chick flick like Cold Mountain, or something?

I think some women simply say they enjoy the outdoors to impress, then there are some that really do enjoy being outside, then there are the ones that say they like the outdoors til there outdoors for more then 5 minutes and then they chance there mind!

Being outdoors is a huge part of who I am. I'm the most at home out in the middle of the woods. One of the most beautiful moments in my life was the past summer when I climbed a mountain in Vermont and watched the sunset from the top. It was absolutely breathtaking.

There's nothing ideal about a Green Acres relationship. In that situation I would have killed the wife, married the pig and made lots of trips down the tracks to Petticoat Junction.
I don't want a wife who wants to go out and set traplines or fell trees for a log cabin or anything, just being willing to walk in the woods for an hour every so often is enough.

I wish I could walk in the woods but there are too many birds. The outdoors in fine......camping, fishing, cooking out........it's just these people that want to spend EVERY minute and do EVERY activity together that get to me. I think it's healthy to have seperate interests as well.

Saying you like the "outdoors" can mean many things. I am not one for hiking at all, but give me a fishing pole or a horse or even a lawn mower and weedeater and warm campfire and I am at home. The only "hiking" I do is on the treadmill, and ya, nearly at gunpoint lol.

I love the outdoors. I live in a small log cabin out in the woods and enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities. Skiing, hiking, kayaking, camping, fishing, horseback riding... you name it (just don't ask me to ride a dirt bike).
Some ladies say they like the outdoors but perhaps they mean watching a sunset from the outdoor patio of a restaurant sipping wine. Could mean different things to different ladies.

You tell me if I really like the outdoors or not....
I hunt...
I fish...
I go camping...
I garden (and we aren't talking just a little garden here... we're talking at least an acre and most years it's more like 5 acres)...
I teach hunter's safety...
So tell me... Am I the "outdoor" type?
Oh by the way... I do all of those things and I am allergic to sunshine.

I agree that it depends on the person's definition of "outdoors". I love spending time in my garden, sitting outdoors in the evenings on the porch, walking through the woods in the fall and winter, fishing, riding on a 4 wheeler. I really enjoy sitting around a bonfire with friends!
To me there is nothing that smells sweeter than freshly turned dirt in the spring, freshly cut grass in the summer, and smoke in the winter!

Hey angel, I'm allergic to the sun too. Not severly though, I just get really itchy if i'm out in it too long. Something I developed in the last year I guess. It's something called Polymorphous light eruption.

I love the outdoors and have always been somewhat of a tomboy growing up. My dad taught me to fix my own fishing line...catch my own bait...bait my own hook and catch and clean my own fish. (It's funny, I don't even eat fish that much) I have been hunting but never killed anything.....of course sitting in a tree stand freezing your butt off isn't my idea of fun. I'd rather sit on the banks with my fishing pole and drink beer...lol Never been hiking so I don't know about that much. Made love outdoors couple times....sooooo I guess I can say, I do love the outdoors
