the one person that i would risk my life for would be my mother.i would do that
with a though or care for myself.but i would do that for anyone that really needed
my help.

I would hope I would have the courage to risk my life for a complete stranger. The courage is not in "performing" the act for someone you know, but in performing the act at all.

I'm not so sure, as much as I would like to be honourable, that I would outside my immediate family. I couldn't say yes. For my child, for my grandson... absolutely, without a second thought... but to try to place a value on who or what was more important, until Im there, I can't say honestly what I would do.

i would do it because it is the right thing to do without a doubt especially for
my mother!!.but it would be right to do it for anyone.

Beautiful story Heaven! This is the kind of stuff that keeps you believing in mankind. Impulse reaction is real honesty, the core... split second decisions. I still wonder though, if given the time to consider would we react the same way? and... what does it mean?

I have done that, and the odd thing was I didn't even think about it until it was over. It was just kind of an instinctual thing that had to be done with no time to think about what the consequences would have been if it hadn't worked out.

In a snap, yes. For a woman or child who needed help which required time to think, Yes. To give someone an organ who has squandered theirs in drinking, drugs, smoking, or any other life taking risks, No.
