regret...
not investing the money my father put away for me when i had it...
i have many regrets.
but there is only one thing i would do over but im not going there...
i learn from everything that happens to me good or bad.
and all the things that have happened to me has made me who i am today. and i like the man i have become!

Agree mary is so wrong.
Some things are final.
True, some things are final. What I said was why waste time regreting them? If you made a mistake, you learn from it and make sure you don't do it again.
Regretting serves no real purpose as you don't accomplish anything with it. Unless you want to sit around whining "oh if only I had gone there..." or "oh if only I had done that..." Well, you didn't and it's gone now. Work with what you have at hand.
Am I more clear now?

Allowing myself to be talked into a marriage with a man who wanted a possession and a maid...not a wife.
Spending 14 1/2 years of my life trying to make said marriage work.
If I don't marry the gentleman I am with now, will I be listing this as another regret 10 years down the road? Time will tell.

I have no regrets at all. It is something like waste a time to regret about anything. Even though i made a mistake it just mean I could not act another way those time ...
Do not regrett about anything, just be more wise after failure !!

I'll second that. Everybody makes decisions we don't like or are wrong, but as Mary pointed out, thats part of the learning process.
Alexander Graham Bell said:
"When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us."

Regrets, Ive had a few; But then again, too few to mention. I did what I had to do And saw it through without exemption.

Good example, KAOS!
I do regret not going to law school. Each time I've had to pay an attorney's fees.
