I think it's crap that we're encouraged not to want.
We're allowed to want.
It's our nature.
What material thing do you want for your birthday?
I don't mean..."I want to find love". I mean that hot pair of shoes, that awesome new gadget, that great movie that's coming out on DVD, a Ferrari...whatever.
I want that $100 lightsabre that lights up to be any color you want and does lots of cool things and makes lots of noises.

hmm well since mine is SOON *hint hint*  I want.... My car fixed and to be able for SURE to go to Vegas so just toss $$ this way Ill be happy  JKJKJK oh yeah and dont ferget the nice roMANtical dinner out and a night of HOT sex k??  
but really?? just would love to be able to find some COMFORTABLE dance shoes in my size  that are CUTE!!!!!

Whatever I want I have to get myself.... when people buy for me... they buy crap and stuff I hardly ever use... worse it their taste is not mine....
So anything I want... I have to get myself... I already bought for myself (my birthday is not until a few weeks), a silver full finger armor ring... I am thinking of getting a signet ring but that wait... since I want to redesign my emblem, as I am wondering if to go back to a more heraldic symbol, or just modify my current one.... or should I add to it... I long abandoned the symbol of the Thunderbird and gone back to using a Dragon (wings right now) but thinking I might need to put a full dragon back on it. Other than that... I am thinking of getting another Digital Camera or maybe a Digital Video Camera. Or maybe find a cool looking tire cover for my Jeep Cherokee... lol. So much stuff to consider... and all other ppl would buy me is cheap cologne...

I have very simple tastes.. anything my partner or family takes the time to choose for me, will be fine by me. For me, it's not the gift, it's the giver! I have had some birthdays where no one even acknowledged it... so anytime I get anything, it's all good
