Need Some Help...Does anyone know about Medicare Presciption Plans?

Medicare changed my plan without notifying me...I did have Medco...but I found out while having a prescription filled that my plan had been dropped.This morning I stood in line at the Social Security office for an hour only to find that my plan is now Healthnet Orange...but she couldn't find a number to call...Anybody else having this problem and any suggestions on how I can get this straightened out?
I need my meds and they are spendy!

I would call the district office of your local Congressional representative -- not the Washington office. The district offices have case-workers who handle Medicare, Social Security, VA, etc questions. They should have the most up-to-date information or can get their hands on it. Just look them up in the blue pages of your telephone book.

oh lordy.. just what I have to look forward to.I have been advised to sign up for disability because of all the meds I take. Altho they are all legal, no one wants to hire someone that takes narcotics every day. Too much of a liability. How am I supposed to live if I can't draw unemployment because I am trying to qualify for disability?

dasiy...yep that sucks I worked until I couldn't anymore...sold every last thing I had even my bed but I made it through and you will too ...do you have family close I sure hope so! Best of luck sweetie!

you can also call ss on the toll free number and they can explain it to you and guide you in the right way ss sucks glad ive got my va..indigo i'll adopt ya so you dont have to worry anymore..Dont sell anything
