Just wondering... since most people here are single... how many times a week do you cook? How many loads of laundry a week do you have in general?
If you had the choice... would you rather have a housekeeper or a cook at your disposal?
I would rather have a cook. Try as I may, it just does not come naturally to me and I find it rather challenging to do on a regular basis. Glad for microwaves and toaster ovens or I would be having to find one.

I base my meals on restaurants..microwaves, and fast foods, as I hate to cook cause I screwup when I do. As far as laundry goes, probably twice a week Housekeeper, or cook?? I would rather have a wife..She knows how to do it all.

I would love a window washer! No one was allowed in my kitchen until I met my husband. Now that he has proved himself very capable, he cooks at least 2 times a week.
Laundry? I let no one touch that either. I was this way when I was single too.
Actually, I cooked dinner after I had been in a restaurant for 8 or more hours too.

I rarely eat out although I'm not a gourmet cook. Lots of things are easy to cook. Baked porkchops, ham and beans, biscuits and gravy, etc. I prefer baked foods over fried especially since it creates less of a mess. You can fix a meal at home for $3-$4 that would cost you $20 to go out and eat. So the answer to your question would be I would rather have a housekeeper than a cook...I hate house work. That is if I had a choice...but living by myself I have the privilege of doing it all.

I love to cook.
I hate folding laundry...my dryer doesn't eat enough socks-they're neverending!
I'd rather have a general maid!

how many times a week do you cook?
0 -- I'm smart enough to admit that "heating" is NOT "cooking" (as I pointed out to my ex one day as he announced to the neighbors how he always cooked when I was at my college classes -- and who was up at 7 am making that d@mn casserole? )
How many loads of laundry a week do you have in general?
probably 1/2-3/4...only have 2 or 3 loads a month. (I'm not real big on wearing a lot of clothes and even a months worth doesn't take up much volume ...oh, and I have no problem using a bath towel more than once -- afterall, it's still clean -- just gets wet and dries immediately in Nevada)
A housekeeper! YES!!!
(I actually LIKE cooking, except for the mess...and no one else to feed. -- and no kitchen. Almost forgot that minor detail. )

I cook every day, maybe once in awhile its order out, but I love my kithen, makin new things or just one of my great meals......
I do my own laundry once a week, fold and put away in the proper places, and even iron my shirts.
I house clean once a week, that includes changing the bed sheets, dusting, vaccuming.
I guess I am my own maid and rather me do it myself, It would be hard for someone to move all my things that I have in place on mantels like pics and other things.
So I'll pass on the cook or maid, well unless they they are...well I am sure u know what I am sayin

I'd go for a housekeeper....I have one though...she comes in every the other day, except the weekends..guess how much she's on/month..$50...sounds unbelievable, huh? I don't need a cook since I was born in a restaurant lol

I don't cook much, I dislike cooking for one. Would rather have a bowl of cereal or something like that. I enjoy doing laundry and housework. So...I wouldn't hire a housekeeper or a cook.
