Well, it looks like we will get back in time for the cold temps in S Cal this evening huh?
It has been any where fron blow zero here to 40 degrees. ( Ohio/Michigan.
We might leave for the airport early because of some nasty weather heading to the Detroit area.

It was 43 at midnight last night, and the temps been falling ever since.
Snowing pretty hard, with a stiff wind. Temp is 14, and it feels like 2 F.
The main roads are covered with ice, and the back roads ( dirt ) were snow covered, which has been packed down, and now has a thick coat of ice on them.
Good day to sit and wait the weather out. Wood stove is full, and it's nice and toasty inside.

It was minus 10 this morning with a wind chill of 30 below... Kids had a 2 hour late start..

I'm with ya on that one Pam.......... It was 61 and windy here in my part of Kentucky yesterday. 57 and rainy at 7:25 this morning when the oldest one got on the bus headed to school. Now it's 27 rain/sleet. We're under a Winter Storm Advisory until tomorrow night. School is letting out 2 hours early today the salt trucks have been out and about. I just pray that the power doesn't go out again like it did last year when we had 4 inches of ice on the ground.

Well, it's a balmy 21 here this morning  We are so not used to this. And snow call for tonite and tomorrow Had to go buy a hat, scarf and mittens, never owned any living here.

Almost exactly the same here! Fifties, but it's raining steady...of course this IS the desert - it wouldnt be anywhere near enough to offset our ten+ year drought!

...Ice, then snow, then more ice and more snow... and now, freezing fog, which at about 18 F, seems a bit weird, as it instantly freezes with most anything it touches.
...Oh well, the fireplace is going, just put another peach cobbler in the oven and earlier, bought more ice cream to go with.
...A little white Sambuca and hopefully, I am in for the night.

Lots of more snow today.
The Superintendent of the jobsite where I am working has decided that everyone will not be coming to work today. It is because those guys drive vans and trucks with rear wheel drive.
I am an experienced snow driver and I carry a snow shovel and tire cables with me in my trunk. I don't have any problem getting any place during any season, but apparently some people do.
Anyway since I have the day off I will see if I can get a little shopping done. I will also stop by the auto body shop today because some uninsured clown hit my car 2 days ago and he is supposed to be paying cash to repair my vehicle. If he doesn't then the police will be contacted.
