ok guys, I don't mean to intrude into that part of your life but c'mon, from the MD family thread, I realise that I've got a few grandmas/grandpas, some dads/moms and a whole bunch of uncles, aunts, sisters etc without actually knowing what they do for a living...is that fair?
what lines of work have you been in? what presently puts food on your table? do you enjoy doing what you do? what do you hate about it?

I'm the youngest of five. when I left high school, my pop was retired already, so I had to work part-time( third year in college) as a tire salesman. when I graduated, I worked full-time in that same company as a salesman still. A year later, I actually started doing what I'm good at...bookkeeping...in that same company, amazing, huh? I still enjoy bookkeeping in china.....what pisses me off, well sometimes, about this job is that it warrants a great deal of focus...distraction's got no room here

I am a proffesional transport operator as defined by our company (PTO). We are not just drivers we are proffesionals at what we do, or we would not be working for the company. I used to do long haul, but due to health issues I am just getting back and only doing local, not sure if I can do long haul again, but local pays just as good...

I keep up with the cost of maintenance on our companys equipment/vehicles.
And also play Secretary to Manager of Garage Operations.
