Yah, I stole the title from the "man purse".
They did a study of women's purses- in particular the dirt in the bottom of the purses. We all know the government has to justify their existence and spend their budget or take a cut for the next fiscal year. The result: a majority of the dirt was e-coli (poop residue). Almost everything we touch in the outside world has traces of the stuff (another gov't. study showed that 30% of the bacteria on paper money was e-coli). So, over time, the stuff just keeps accumulating in the bottom of the purse. Remember the candy or gum that was on the bottom and you ate it anyway. 
So the next time you say to your lady friend, "You sure carry alot of shit in that purse", you won't be joking around.

Raykl ?? yer a brat !! I also read where because women put thier purses on the bathroom floors the floor next to them while they are out etc the amount of bacteria on the OUTSIDE of a purse is astonishing  and then we put them ON the kitchen tables coutners etc.. more [12] I try NEVER to toss my purse on the floor and usually try really hard NOT to carry one anyways  much easier now the kids are growing up and i dont need as much stuff with me

so what's the study telling us here? that women are dirty lol or that they shouldn't use purses anymore?
I like sniffing women's purses...some smell way too damn good...am I doing something wrong here? or am i just in deep shit as well? lol

Wills, PAY ATTENTION. Becky is right. The germs were on the bottom OUTSIDE, of the purse, so you just sniff away...  although if you sniff to hard in mine you just might end up with a hair ball.

Yep, get out that decontamination suit if you're gonna empty out my purse. No gum, and only wrapped candies but I'm kind of scared to empty it out and see what's lurking down there at the bottom...long lost single earrings, notes to myself to do things and phone numbers that totally mystify me...do I dare call and find out who these people are???

 One thing about flying on an airplane at least every 6 months is the bottom of my purse gets clean.
Oh and while we are at it, where is the worst place for e-coli?
Think about that the next time you sit in a movie theatre....

germs are mobile, I mean some are air borne...right?..this means they could leave the bottom to the top, sides...so long as the purse still breeds them..yuck... ..I better shut the heck up before I go overboard lol. I ain't sniffing women's purses no more 
zula, where do yo keep that trash can of yours again...that sounds like jackpot to me lol
LGQ, speaking of crap, what do you carry an empty wallet for? ...do you retail lip gloss?

Some people have seen the size of the purse I carry (I get teased about it all the time)
In it I have:
hairbrush
sewing kit
breath drops
several kinds of pills
pen
3x5 cards for notes
a whole bunch of credit cards/ID, papers and receipts
a couple of 'fresh wipes'
emery board
a bandaid
a condom ( everyone says it's the safe thing to do in this day and age...please note: it's been there TOO LONG )
a Nicorette patch (for a differnt kind of emergency)
a couple samples of lotion
a pony tail elestic or two
lipstick (that I ALWAYS forget to wear)
tweezers
a couple of spare keys
matches/mini Bic lighter
earrings (so THAT's where they were  )
my special 'talisman', my handmade shale heart 
some wads of dollar bills
a bunch of change on the bottom
(omg, does THIS bag need some cleaning out and reorganizing!  )
...oh, and it's all of 3" wide, 3" deep and 5" long. No kidding, no exaggeration!  I was even able to lose my GLASSES in it one time
...but, as always, with any bag I carry, it has a long strap. I've always kept in on my shoulder or thrown it around my neck when I use a bathroom. I rarely place it down anywhere in public -- it's so small, that it'd be too easy for it to "walk".
Not sayin' it might not pick up E-coli when I throw it on the console of my car, though.
PS This is one of my larger purses...I have several that are even smaller. Mostly I break the zippers, though, trying to stuff too much into it.

For some reason or another LGQ, I respect the fact you're carrying him around in there!  Gotta be a geek thing or something for me to respect that... 
Sun? Um... Ok, that sounds like you have a large purse! Or... You're using carry on luggage???  
I just carry my laptop bag, but, you 'might' consider that a geek purse couldn't you??? Though I don't carry lipstick in it (and I didn't ever say I carry lipstick ever!  lol! ). Though I do carry my day planner (and HUSH you other geeks! Yes I know I could sync up and use a PDA or my blackberry instead of the planner, but I like the planner! lol! No batteries required).
