I wouldn't change a thing...They've been lessons in life for me to grow from & are stepping stones for my future

Yeah, I agree with you nc. I wouldn't and couldn't touch a thing.
If I change that one thing, then it would make me a different person than who I am, and there's no guarantee that would make me a better person because of it, because then, I wouldn't have the experience and knowledge having to have lived through it, that it has brought me. Although I'd like to change things, there's no point in crying over spilt milk. Learn from it, improve from it, become because of it...

If I had the fore knowledge; I'd have made sure my ex hadn't had the opportunity to cheat on me. Because; he was intelligent; stimulating; fun to be with; and we enjoyed each others company. Even though he ended up being a major 'dick'; I miss him!
All it would have prevented with the prior knowledge and the changing of things; would have been my trip to and living in the UK for the last six years. Nothing more - I am the same person, I was then!

I would...not have run off to Virginia and married Mrs. Life Sucking Whore. Instead I would've asked my employer to send me to rehab and taken six months off to heal my soul eight years ago.
It's been two and half years and I still haven't recovered from the divorce...but at least I'm sane and sober!

I would go back into my teen years and give myself a kick in the pants... and tell myself... go ask Betty out (the girl I had a crush on).... or so something.... and not keep it bottled up inside, afraid of being turned down which I was eventually... but it might have been different if I didn't wait 4 years.

[QUOTE]It's been two and half years and I still haven't recovered from the divorce...but at least I'm sane and sober "uab"... Woo Hoo...Good for you being sane & sober...That's a big step to make in your life ...Divorce can be very painful...It takes time for your heart to heal after a big blow...
just a little more time..... "daisy"...I know what ya mean...I lost my half-sister in '88...Her husband killed her...But there's not a day that goes by I don't think of her...
If I change that one thing, then it would make me a different person than who I am "encorrgbl"...I fully agree with ya
If I had the fore knowledge; I'd have made sure my ex hadn't had the opportunity to cheat on me "welsh"...Unfortunately none of us have a crystal ball to fore-tell us of our future... And I understand about your pain of losing the great love of your life...When someone makes a big impact on your life like your husband did...Well they will forever have a special place in your heart & you will never stop loving them...At the same time you have to go forward with your life...My heart goes out to you
not keep it bottled up inside, afraid of being turned down "white"...It's always best to let someone know of your feelings for them...It's best to be turned down...Than to have them pass away & you're never given the change again to tell them...

Hindsight is always 20/20 so I know now that I would not have fallen for a man that could not love me the way I deserved ... it took a long long time to get him out of my system. The good thing is, it taught me that I was capable of loving someone unconditionally ....

I know that now... I didn't know that then.... you live and learn.... when you are teen.... you do not know such things sometimes.

I probably would not have started to party at such a young age, had a lot of fun but wasted a lot of time.

just a little more time..... Hugs Daisy. We all wish we did that...
No major regrets, other than doing this stupid school stuff when I'm ancient and my brain has fossilized.
