I've been trying to find a dress for my friends wedding in April. Have been to several stores and tried on maybe 30 or 40 and I don't like any of them. A saleslady was telling me I need to go more formal and choose something more on the lines of eveningwear since its a evening wedding. UGHHHHHHH, have you seen those strapless skinny barely there dresses? I would be embarrased to wear something like that. Guess I'm on the conservative side. Besides that, there will be many people there I know from work and I don't want to look like a floozy !!!
So the search continues, for the perfect dress, good thing I have about 6 weeks to look.
May take 3-4 weeks to find the dress, then the shoes and everything else.
I hate shopping, I really do.
Have you ever tried to find that perfect dress or outfit ?
I'm tired.

Good one robo..thats funny......Have a nudest wedding, save the money on clothes, and spend it on the party, or your honeymoon......... Probably didn't help huh.....Sorry wish I could though.......

Now, I realize this isn't for everybody, there a lot of used dresses but there are also the weddings that never happened....You have the web at your fingers, you just might find the perfect dress, just broaden your search

I was born without the looking for perfection gene... I cannot, absolutely CANNOT go shopping with my friend Terrry. She's gonna be the mother of the groom soon...and she went shopping with her about-to-be-daughter-in-law for her dress....if that marriage survives, it'll be a miracle. Actually it won't, they'll be livng 2500 miles apart...hopefully some day they'll be on speaking terms again though.

Yesterday same as today, different store- about 20-30 dresses but I'm narrowing it down a little now. It should be a dark color ( I like eggplant purple) and without frills or ruffles because I don't like them on me.
Going again in the morning to 3 more stores in town, praying that I find something because this is hard work !
I'm tired...
Is finding a dress this hard? When did this happen ?

this may be another reason why I'll never marry again, but if I do... I want a biker wedding... jeans, black tee shirts, leather jackets... whole wedding party on bikes...
have a pig roast, or Goat roast for the reception... casual, comfortable, and friendly...

This is the difference between women and men, you have to try on 500 dresses to go to a wedding. I have to get a suit out of the closet and hope it fits ok and there aren't too many gravy stains on the tie.

"elope"
And pre-nup..ok, two words, "elope" & "prenuptial"
Love will overcome all else! 
Otherwise, dress to to a date, not a business meeting.
Weddings are about new love and hope. Low cut
