I’m sure many know several members of MD will be out in Vegas shortly. It will surely be a grand party with fun to be had by all. There is some concern that the laws in “Sin City” may be a bit more restrictive than is realized and for this reason, it has been suggested that the matter of Bail Money should be addressed. 
There are all kinds of factors that could lead to the need to help one or two (let’s hope the number is no higher!!  ) out of a sticky situation. I think they should realize if they are bailed out with other MD member’s generosity, they will be responsible for retaining counsel with their own means, but I am sure they would appreciate being able to do so from the comforts of their own home (or at least from their hotel room - which due to the circumstances may end up being a cardboard box with only a flea ridden blanket or discarded flyers! Oh, the price to be paid!).
Anyway, this is the place to offer donations to the “Spring An MD‘r“ fund....any denomination is welcome. We all know that everyone has at least two cents....look at the number of posts that have been filled with “just my $.02 worth”!!!!!!! Heck, taking that into consideration, this could be a perpetual fund for future gatherings that might result in an MD member needing to be freed from the restraints of incarceration!!
NOTE: It is understood that there will be those that do not wish to contribute for whatever reason....just remember, by stating negative or derogatory remarks, the system is set up so that input is worth a penny and will be deposited into said fund!! Substantial donations (anything over $5.00) will warrant a receipt that is clearly marked “NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE” via e-mail.
Suggestions and advice for prevention of possible arrests may also be listed in this thread! Let's have fun.....the Bon Voage party starts NOW!

I will donate my $.02 worth; along with any future $.02 worth I might add, for the next 6 months. Hmmm..........hopefully I won't get too opinionated or I may need to apply for a loan!

Yes, Mom....as long as it's not plastic forks, spoons or knives!! I've checked, the courts would consider those contraband and/or potentially dangerous weapons which would then result in the incarceration of the individual posting bail....this would cause an unneccessary hardship to the Fund!!!!

Yep, Katts....that is one of the best definitions of a best friend!!!!!
Plastic plates might come in handy....we could always use a press to make up credit cards
