This is for the ladys and the gents
I am just curious...
What cologne(s) or perfume(s) do you wear? and what do you like on your current or prospective mate?
(I am thinking the responses will be interesting and perhaps enlightening to some)
I'll start by saying I wear Exclamation (religiously) & Aviance Night Musk (sometimes)but that's about it as this is what my hubby & I prefer.
On him I love Drakkar (I know it's old school but still rocks my boat!) that and Santa Fe'...and also Obsession,Gray Flannel, & Cool Water so far.
So tell us MD Community,... Inquiring minds want to know!

I usually wear something natural like magnolia or rose scented perfume. Bath and Body Works put them out. Also, my ex bought me a perfumed lotion called Realm that had human pheromones in it a few years ago and I still wear it from time to time.

I wear "Knowing" by Estee Lauder. My sister introducted it to me many years ago and I've been wearing it ever since. I have also tried something by "??? Picasso"....which was pretty good also.
For a man....hummmmm I like Quorum? I think its called that or even Polo.

I usually wear vanilla. Seriously... Vanilla body wash, vanilla shampoo.... if I could find vanilla scented laundry soap and fabric softener I would be using it too.
On a man... I like Old Spice.

A couple years ago, one of the major colleges (I'm thinking Princeton, but maybe not) did a study finding that men's sweat has a calming effect on women. I expect this will eventually show up in the form of cologne.

I like to smell Tribute by Mary Kay on men or Quattro by Mary Kay. I usually wear Chanel Chance or Rare Pearls by Avon. I have some Eternity Moment that I wear a tiny dab of once in a while, but not too often because it is very strong. I like Beautiful by Estee Lauder once in a while too. I have found that I can't stand the smell of something if I wear it constantly.

From what I have read pheromones come from sweat graystone, and from tests conducted, it has proven quite succesful.

personally, i'm not make of a perfume/cologne person. I'm of the "less is more" variety - where just the natural smell of a woman (hair, body, etc.) is wonderful and soothing whereas if someone wears too much perfume - my personal feelings are that it's "yucky".
i don't tend to wear any cologne myself. every now and again a bug will crawl up in the netherland region and i'll wear cologne for this or that, but generally just the good ole' soap/deodorant thing is my general m.o.

this might sound bad but i got up and counted...
i have 27 bottles that are in constant rotation...
what can i say? i like to smell good.
it all depends what mode or mood im in... and i blend so i dont smell like anyone else. i hate that!
i also tend to make a note of what a particular female likes. but more important what she dosent!
there are so many to choose from i cant narrow it down
*thanks you got all my personalities fighting again!*

I am allergic to almost all perfumes and colognes. So, I can't wear any cologne and I can't be around a woman who wears much perfume. Walking through a store and going by the perfume counter area, and having some lady come up and asking me if I would like to try their men's scent or whatever crap they are trying to push is more effective than pepperspray on me.
In a way I am lucky, because I never have to buy any cologne and I don't have to buy any lady I am involved with perfume.
