Ok I'm gonna pretend y'all are my 2nd graders and ask a question I might ask them. And if there is already a thread like this, feel free to ignore mine.
If you could be any animal what kind would you be and why?
If you talked to my friends, they would tell you I'd be a cat. But personally I think I would rather be a wolf. They are very intelligent, good hunters and mate for life.
Anyone else?

oh I'd be a wolf too and for much the same reasons also because I am exactly the same kind of shy as they tend to be .. and, yes, am often highly misunderstood .. and was slightly adopted by some before ...
Nice picture, by the way!

Thank you hope. I look older in this one! LOL I have wolf pics all over my bedroom, mostly ones that I drew. I kinda feel like they are my protector spirits. There is just something magical about a wolf's eyes.
Budo I can see you as that tortoise. Good choice!

Bear , absolutely ! They are cute, they are the best parents, and they are smart enough not to deal with wintertime heating bills and icy driveways - I'd love to hibernate in November and wake up in March ( wait..maybe it would be better to hibernate after Christmas and wake up after tax reports deadline?... )

They are cute, they are the best parents Now that, about bears, I did not know. I know a great deal about wolves from books and personal observation. What I mostly know about bears is somewhat how to avoid them before they eat you. .. and that's not as easy as it sounds

Hm ... a stuffed animal, then I'd get all the snuggles I want, and I love hugs.

Dukums...the trouble with tribbles is that they just are much too fertile...Careful!
It would be tough to choose but I think I'd like to be a dolphin, living in warm waters, playful, intelligent and protective. They've been known to protect human swimmers from sharks by swimming circles around them.

I can definitely say I wouldn't want to be a gerbil owned by a gay man.
Lemme think...I am kinda cat like so I guess that would be it.

What I mostly know about bears is somewhat how to avoid them before they eat you. . Hmmm...wolf warning Humans about how dangerous bears can be ? Isn't it somehow ...wait....let's put it polite way ...hypocritical?.... Unlike wolves, bears follow quite healthy diet and live healthy outdoors lifestyle - fishing , gathering berries ,etc. Granted, they get overprotective around their cubs , but what good parent isn't ? And they , indeed , get extremely aggressive if disturbed while hibernating ( then again - who wouldn't ?... ) And, besides, I know quite a few Humans who definitely deserve to be eaten...

An eagle or falcon, because they get to experience the most breathtaking views of the world. Being able to fly would be awesome.
