Who is the Most famous person you have seen in the flesh .? .. and did they have charisma ? .. Did they look like a star ?
Or were they a disappointment ?
I am trying to think of any that Americans will know .....
I went to a party in January and Bob Hoskins was there. Very small man with great acting abiilties and seemed very down to earth.
I saw George Bush in Las Vegas Airport last year .... well he was being met on the tarmac by a car and security etc ...

At the Airport in Milan I saw Fausto Leali a famous Italian singer and in Formetera I saw an italian soap opera actor. The first who is very famous was pleasant, simple and nice The second who is unknown (as this soap opera is not so famous) was arrogant, vain and impolite. Strange thing....the behaviuor could be the opposite.....

Or were they a disappointment ? I met John Kerry...like I keep telling you all...he wasn't very charismatic (he usually isn't) but he was funny...and he looked better in person than he does on TV...he has great hair.
I saw a lot of wrestlers up close and got to "speak" to a few of them...they were pretty awesome, except the ones that gave me the finger.

Met Johnny and June Cash many years ago and they were really very nice down to earth people and enjoyed a nice long conversation with them.
Now if you meant infamous I would have to say Bill and Hilary Clinton and that was not pleasant times.

I lived in NYC
- people I knew before they made it - Bernadette Peters, Olivia Cole (Roots, Emmy winner), Maria Muldaur (Grammy winner). Haven't been in touch for years, but I can guarantee you they earned everthing they've gotten - Bernadette was putting in 8 hour days with singing and dancing lessons when she was in kindergarten. Olivia and Maria were classmates all through high school, and they busted their butts too.
- people I met afterwards - Joan Baez (sang a duet with her back when I could still sing), Pete Seeger, Robin Williams, Jeff Bridges. All were nice people. Susan Sarandon filmed some sequences at my ex's bowling alley, and my son said she was likeable - her kids were there and he said he wished a lot of the other moms that bring their kids paid as much attention to what they were doing as she did.

Does Gene Autery's horse and Roy Rogers' horse count? I got to pet both of them at Fat Stock Shows when I was a wee one.
