Hopefully everyone will remember to set their clocks ahead not back as suggested. Remember it is Spring "forward" Fall "back" so adjust your clocks to an hour ahead before you go to bed and you should be okay.

How come they are doing 3 weeks earlier this year?

Who is "they"? Who decides it's going to be 3 weeks earlier........or what is "on time" anymore? What time is it really?

"They" are your elected representatives in Congress. They think this will save some energy. And it's bedtime.

Originally the idea of daylight saving time goes back to Ben Franklin while he was ambassador to France. He felt that the French wasted too much of their time in bed when they could be using more productive daylight hours. Also he saw it as a means of conserving lamp oil.

The idea didn't come into practice till many years later.

Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise

I live in Phoenix....we don't do time change.

(Too bad I work with the whole world and have to think about when they change times in Britain, Australia....etc. )

What exactly do you have to do to your computers for this time change? And if you don't, will it mess everything up? I'm lucky if I remember to set my clocks, much less watches or computer.
