A good use for Pistachio shells?
I have gotten on quite a pistachio kick here lately, and I just hate to throw all of these shells away. Seems like I could have them pressed into a nice piece of plywood or something.

you can prolly pulverize them and use them with soap for a facial scrub like they do with apricot pits

Now theres a smart girl!!! I had actually thought of that one. It might make better mulch for the flower beds or something though......cept for that salt thing.

If you have a fireplace they burn with nice colors but be carefull and not add to many at one time. So do pecan shells by the way.

Mulch -- they make great flower garden mulch. And if they're the salted kind, you might want to soak them in water and rinse them off first (you DO own a spaghetti colendar, right?  )

really i'm sure at the nut factories they probably do use the shells for something instead of just throwing them away someone should research this and find out (NOPE not gonna be me!)

ohh i LOOOVE Pistachios!!
dump them in a bucket of glue and when you take them out toll them all together into different shapes and after they dry put them in a fish tank and it'll look like coral reafs :)
