I found that if you abide by these, you can't go wrong:
1. If a thread asks for advice, do NOT say what you really mean. Stroke the ego, pat on the back, give some hugs, and for cryin' out loud tell them what they want to hear.
2. It doesn't matter WHAT is said, it's WHO said it.
3. Sugar coat, sugar coat, sugar coat. Always remember that if the poster says even the dumbest thing, you must not tell them that.
4. You can disagree only as long as you don't disagree.
5. Fluff it up! Hug people, hug them lots!
6. Have at least 100 posts that consist solely of  ,  ,  ,  . Don't forget to use  .
7. Make sure that you're the first one to run to the Mod. Even if you're being downright nasty, you must be the first one to get the teacher.
8. Complain and whine as best as you can. That will always earn you the love and sympathy of others who will run to protect you if someone dares tell you that you shouldn't whine and complain.
9. Make sure that you underline as often as you can how nice, loving and misunderstood you are. When you post something really mean nobody's gonna think it's mean.
10. Don't bother with spelling and grammar. It doesn't matter that anyone can't understand you anyway.

Of course you have to remember to throw in derogatory comments on people's intelligence just to make it interesting and to take the focus off the arguement when it is weak.

At least, until it turned political.. Then, it started losing steam!
