Yes, we all know that myspace.com has become very popular. So what are your thoughts about it. Is it an excellent way to interact with people or basically leaving yourself open for all the internet world to see? I understand there has been some controversial gray areas regarding myspace.com.

What's wrong with "leaving yourself open for the world to see", if you don't give away any personal information? What if you even list yourself as living in the wrong country? That's what I've done.
I love MySpace but then again it's extremely popular for my age group. All my friends use it and it's an easy way to connect with them, especially the ones I don't see often. Plus, it makes you feel like you're in touch with your favourite celebrities lol 
I like that people can open up my profile and learn a bit about me. I like that I can make friends from different countries, from different parts of The United States, that I wouldn't know if it weren't for MySpace.

Funny - I stumbled across this after posting something about Myspace myself...
I have gotten in touch with a lot of old friends and family thru this site... but a lot of strange people send me friend requests - which I deny... other than that... I'm enjoying it...

My space is all right. But when you talk on the forums you get a bunch of mouthy kids on it. Frankly its more of a kids site. So if you want to deal with a lot of smart mouth kids on it. Go for it.

I just joined ...actually a friend set up my page for me ... I should check to make sure it's uhh me I always thought it was a kids site too but a few of my friends are there blogging their butts off!

The only reason I made a myspace page was so I could keep in contact with "my kids" when they went off to college. I've NEVER went into the forums, so I haven't had that problem.....Just being able to keep in contact with these kids makes it so special. I've known most of them since they were in Kindergarten

To be perfectly honest, this site is quite similar to Myspace, save for the hokey graphics and layouts you can do on your profile there. It's basically the same as here--a networking site, where you can meet people. Myspace just tends to be the 16-30 something crowd. I like Myspace though. There are alot of similarities.
